This rights option is the most popular type of rights offered and sold. You pay one fee up front. You can make as many copies as you want of the product or make as many online sales as you like. You never have to pay the author or owner another cent past the initial ownership fee.

Prices vary based on potential, product, target market, pre-set distribution and size.

Master Resale Rights
The mother lode! If you have master resale rights for a product you can do whatever you like with the product, at whatever price, to however many customers you choose to sell to. Furthermore you can go on to sell reprint rights licenses to others. Master rights may come with stipulations - rights with conditions. These may be a minimum price set by the original owner, a minimum quantity of resale licenses sold, when and where the product may or may not be sold, etc.

Repackage Resale Products for Stronger Appeal

Find out how many other rights licenses have been sold. If too many licenses will be or have been sold, your competition may just be too fierce.

Ask about stipulations, restrictions and limitations in the licensing. You want to see the seller setting some hard and fast rules such as whoever buys rights cannot give the product away for free. The product may not be sold for less than $x.xx, and so on.
