For the last six years I have been repeatedly asked if if I would show or help others to make money online using my methods – very similar to a past Affiliate Code method. The requests happen at parties, by email, chance encounters on the streets (friends of friends who know what I do for a living), and lengthly discussions at the dining room table with friends that pop by. In fact just yesterday a new acquaintance asked where all my money came from when it doesn’t appear that I’m ever actually working!

Try to explain that over a cup of coffee!

Helping You to Make Money Online

I’ve always had an open-door policy by email. If you need help, have questions, can’t pick a niche, don’t know how to create a website, need online marketing explained (in English) because everything else online seems to contradict itself….you can email me and I will write back. I always do, even knowing that most people won’t do a darn thing with the knowledge, most people will start an online business and then drop it long before it earns a sizable income.

…knowing that making money online isn’t as easy to explain in 2009 and beyond…

Today’s market (especially in the United States and Canada) requires some serious training – not just 10 paragraphs in an email, a $97 software purchase, and a $5 domain name.

Serious Training – The Affiliate Code

Gaining all the knowledge and experience required to make serious money online in 2010 and beyond will take you months (and if you’re really new, years) of trial, error, training, $10 reports, reading, applying, studying, and assessment. I honestly don’t care what anyone else tells you – if you want to succeed at this online game, you need knowledge. Knowledge equals power. Power put to use equals earnings.

Once you’ve got the knowledge behind you, there will be no stopping you. You could, in essence, create website after website of income producing machines. But first – the knowledge! Without it you’re shooting in the dark…

Given that you might be new to marketing, new to promotions, new to online traffic generation, new to creating websites, new to creating a marketing plan and may never have heard of campaigns, auto-responders and submission software…how could anyone expect to learn and earn the necessary steps to running an online business in a 10 paragraph email or a $5 report or free blog posts strewn all over the net? (Unless you already have some marketing experience or knowledge under your belt?)

The Affiliate Code is that complete package. Created for newbies with more than enough meat to push seasoned marketers into the next income bracket if the knowledge gained is applied. And – pleasant surprise – it won’t break your bank as it is currently selling for $77 (price may change at a later date).

On a side note – remember in the 70s and 80s you could buy investing secrets or real estate secrets in-home training by mail order? Some of these were a 6 pack of videos at a cost of up to $5,000. Secrets that, if applied, could earn you a lot of money. Considering the millionaires this type of training created over the years, $77 for The Affiliate Code doesn’t sound like a lot to invest now does it?

You can see the results and testimonials – plus video proof of the creator’s income – here, but if you want to know more about this training, read on…

There are over 30 videos with PDF training (if you absorb knowledge best by reading use the PDFs). The training is progressive but once you have it under your belt (or if you are already a seasoned marketer) you’ll be able to refresh by skipping back and forth between the segments.

There’s a nifty piece of software I’ve been using lately to uncover untapped niche markets based on popular keyword searches over on Google. Now before you click away thinking this is some pitch to purchase some new-fangled software that you’ll buy and never use, just hear me out, because I will talk about the software, but I will also show you why, if you’re stumped, you need to read this article.

Countless times a month I receive emails from people who want to start their own online business but don’t know what to do or how to do it, nor do they know what ‘type’ of business they want. All they do know is that they want to quit their jobs, quit their commutes and start working toward a better future – on their own terms.

New keyword and trend research tool tells you what's hot, which products are under-marketed, and how to promote them.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Online business is like an offline business – not exactly, but similar enough to say so. You can’t gain skills, get loans, invest time, rent space and buy product to sell until you know what kind of business you want to open or run. Determination of a mission, goal, and business model is primary.

If you take a step back for a second and examine your desire to start an online business you may find that your goal is not really about running an business, it is about making money online. And to do that, you’ve got to gain some skills to pay the bills!

This is why I love the concept of niche marketing for newbies. It’s a good ‘in’. Newbie marketers can test the waters with free web pages (such as those found on Squidoo, Ezine articles, Blogger, etc.), learn how to get and add affiliate links, and over time learn how to promote their pages. To think you can just walk into the online marketing arena and make a bundle of money overnight is ludicros – could you do this in the real world without knowing how to promote your business? Could you do this in the real world without knowing with market to target? Which product to sell? (I have more questions to drive the point home, but I think you get my drift.)

Now here’s the kicker. The reason so many newbie marketers fail in their first year online (while they’re acquiring the skills needed) is that they don’t know the group of people they’re targeting and they don’t know how to choose a winning product. It’s basic, but we all miss it. Know your target market, get in front of them, and show them something they want, and you’ll make sales. If you aren’t making sales then you either have the wrong market or you have the wrong product.

This is where the software I’ve been testing the last week comes in to save the day. Yes, even a seasoned marketer like myself…

A Brief Look At The Software

It’s called MicroNiche and in a nutshell here are the bare bone basics of what it does:

Shows you # of searches on your choice of keywords, plus related keywords. AND supplies current price other marketers are paying on Adwords (this is a big hint on how lucrative the market is). AND shows how strong the competition is (a big time saver and the closest you’ll get to a guarantee that you can quickly corner the market and make some money, so choose wisely for easy targets).

Shows you the hottest trends in online searches. Particularly exciting for pre-Christmas marketers looking to make some fast cash with new products.

Shows you random hot product searches. Can’t decide what to promote, which niche to enter? The brainstorm feature gives you ideas.

I’m purposely trying not to talk too much about the software. There is a lot more to it than those three points above, but seriously if you have any knowledge in either marketing or business, online or off, you know this is a ‘no-brainer’ – the software is worth ten times what they’re asking for it just in the time it will save. And, honestly, I don’t care whether you want to get into affiliate marketing (as the training videos suggest), or in writing and selling ebooks, or setting up a virtual shop — you need to perform some research first. This does not limit you to tiny, micro niches only. It’s just a name.

Other features include a fast link to the support desk, automatic saving of your past searches (which you can also delete if the market isn’t a winner), quick links per keyword to GoogleTrends, affiliate program searches, ClickBank and Amazon product searches, current Adwords campaigns, Ezine articles targeted to that keyword, and domain tools. (I’m probably missing some features here…)

Honestly once you have been marketing for a while you’ll know that you have to have six Explorer or FireFox windows open to do any market or keyword research – not now. Here it is all in one place. Software built by a marketer, for marketers.

Getting Back to Making Money

If knowning about the software doesn’t get you excited then you’re new and there’s nothing wrong with that, I promise. However my goal is to make the newness of you slip away as quickly as possible. You need to get busy creating products or promoting products as soon as possible. The easist way to gain the skills mentioned in the first part of this article is to create some pages on Squidoo or write some articles for Ezine articles, and link to products that earn you a decent commission on sale. I’m suggesting those two properties because they are easy to contrbute to and carry a lot of authority with Google (i.e. free visitors to your offers).

Below you should find a video on how to create pages on Squidoo. If it won’t load – while I work out the bugs – the direct link to the video is here.

"If you do not find out what people want before you create a product on a hunch, then you could end up with a product that never sells. You then not only have wasted your time creating the product, but you will also waste money by advertising. This is a pretty important step."

What Types of Info Products Will People Buy?

Those of us new to marketing – on our first time out with an info product – create a product on something we are familiar with. In our eyes, it looks like a real winner, because we know we’d buy the ebook if we found it for sale online.

So we blindly head into the next step – paying for advertising, investing time into building a website, writing articles and press releases, etc. Spending all kinds of money and time trying to sell a product with little luck. If we don’t give up on the concept of niche marketing and making money online at that point, we likely decide to learn more about internet marketing as a whole, (and not just niche marketing specifically) where we eventually discover that our great idea doesn’t actually have a defined market. (Now stay with me, this starts to make sense in a moment…)

Still sometimes, the market does exist, but it has no money.

So before just jumping in any niche market, consider ALL of the factors.

Here are a few you need to look at:

The amount of competition you will have, and how big the competitors are.

Whether there is a market for your product.

That market has to have money for your product.

Is the market growing, or declining in interest?

Will you enjoy the chosen market’s customers and referring other products to them later on in your niche market business?

All factors are very important, especially the last one.

I, and many others have found that when you really have true passion for what you are doing, then you can always do it one better than someone who never had passion for the business or has lost their interest. Enjoying your niche market will make the difference in how successful your business will be. It won’t seem like work to you, it will be more like fun!

Really Fast Money
(2008) – $5

As trainers in the make money online marketplace, we are inundated daily with emails from people asking “What would you do if you needed $1000 – $2000 by TOMORROW, and you didn’t see it (coming)…?”

<a href="http://www.smartzville.com/5formore.htm"target="_blank" >Click here to see one answer…

So don’t jump into this business blindfolded. Understand your market fully and enjoy it. Brian Tracy once said “Find something that you really love, and put your whole heart into it”.

Here’s why Niche Marketing is THE Place to Start Your Online Empire

I quote Ron Ruiz here when I say, “It is much better to be the big fish in a little pond, rather than a little fish in a big pond”.

This is where niche marketing holds the gold. Choose a market or niche where you could potentially dominate it within short order. In your first online business you don’t need to find yourself up against the big guns with the big money – well established in their industry and ready to knock you over with their latest marketing thrust. Quietly build up your business in a market with very little competition, keep learning about growing your business and applying what you learn and you’ll succeed.

How to Learn About Your Chosen Niche Market

The 5 factors above will be revealed when you survey your market.

What Do People Want to Buy?

Once you’ve chosen a niche topic, you have to find out what people want before you spend your time on creating something. It would be completely foolish of you to spend time or money creating a product, a website, sales letter, bonuses, etc.. and then find out that there is no interest in the market for what you’re offering.

If you are thinking of creating something similar to an already successful product, then you need to figure out how to do it better than that successful product. Never waste your time creating something that is exactly the same as a product already selling successfully. You’ve got to do it one better, or with a twist.

How to discover what will make a product better than what’s currently available? Ask a few questions…

Survey your target niche market to find out what they want…

You’ll want to ask people in your target market a few questions to see what it is they are willing to buy, what problems they have, or topics they can’t find information on relating to the niche.

Here is how it’s done:

Create a list of product ideas in your niche topic that you are willing to create – 5 to 10 ideas is all you need. Then find out where your market ‘hangs out’ online (forums, message boards, newsletters, blogs, etc.) and offer them something of value if they’ll take a few minutes to answer a survey for you. (It could be a free copy of your upcoming product should you choose to create it. It could be a prize draw. It could be a short report on a similar topic. You’ll think of something, just ask yourself, "What would it take to get me to answer a survey?")

This will save you hours or even days creating products that might not sell. And when you do find what people want and give it to them at a reasonable price, you’ll know that you are creating a product for a crowd hungry for your information.

Surveying your market, step by step is on this page, but if you’re looking for a faster way to learn more about your market, check out some niche marketing software.

Step by Step – Surveying Your Niche Market

If you do not find out what people want, or plunge blindly forward and create a products on a whim, you could end up with a dead duck product (a product that doesn’t make any money and yes, I’ve had a few).

Spying on your target niche markets’ hidden desires and needs isn’t all that hard…you just need to create a special report and run a survey. Here’s how…

You then not only have wasted your time and money but it can put you right off the entire entrepreneurial activity of making money online.

So do a little market research (in depth information can be found at What’s My Ebook Idea Worth? $9) or survey your market to find out what they want to buy, how much they want to pay, and what they are likely to purchase in the coming year.

You could go through all the pain and suffering of setting up a website or web pages, installing fancy scripts and testing like crazy to ensure everything worked perfectly, or you could sign up with a free survey service (many of them offer trial periods – long enough to collect the information you need) and they supply you with a url where visitors will go to fill out your survey. Over at questionpro.com they have a number of survey styles to choose from (you would alter one of the marketing templates to suit your needs) and a free trial.

Make your survey as simple as possible. You don’t want to ask 40-50 questions that your target market may not know or care to answer. If you do, they won’t answer your survey, or worse they will fill it out falsely. You want to keep it simple enough that anyone and everyone in your market is capable of responding, you’re not imposing on their time, and that you get enough information for your venture to be successful.

Here are some sample ideas of questions you may ask:

In the next 3 months, what would you most likely purchase…

How much money are you willing to spend on…

What is the main problem that you have with “ABC”…

Create a free report on the topic that you feel your target market is most interested in. Do some quick research and write an essay, or summarize a certain subject. This free report is going to be the ‘hook’ or reason why people will take the time to fill out your survey in the first place. If you don’t give them a reason – or a gift of some kind – they most likely won’t participate.

Find an ezine or newsletter that offers solo mailings, ask busy blog owners if they’ll allow a link to your survey for a short time, or run a pay per click campaign on google and advertise for participants (Perry will show you how to do this cost effiiciently in his free course on google pay per click).

Your ad just needs to be about getting a free report if they click on your link. The link takes them to the survey page that gives a short explanation that all they need to do to get the free report is to fill out this short survey. Here is an example ad for a niche market acne product:

——-* END OF EXAMPLE * ——

Of course that’s just a fast example, I have no idea how your ad will work, or read, but the point is to just get them to go to the page, and a free report is a simple way to do it.

A few tips with creating your niche market survey:

Do not have any of the options already checked. This will create false results as people will just click the “submit” button quickly and not even change the “already checked” results.

Make sure and have “None of the above” options for each question. All of your products ideas might not be bought by anybody, and if you do not have “none of the above” options, then you would never know and you could still possibly end up creating something that nobody wants.

No fancy designs. Have your web page that hosts the poll on it, simply for hosting the poll. No need for fancy, flashy designs and links going to several different places. Just have your poll and that is it. After you have done the above, tally up the results and begin designing the product you are going to create. Usually, you will see the results are pretty one sided. The majority of people will have picked the same options, which is what you want.

If the results show that everything is pretty equal, then pick the option that you are most comfortable with creating. If the majority of the results show “None of the above” answers, then create different questions and survey more people in your target niche market.

Running an online target market survey for niches is really very simple to do. Don’t get in a panic and think you cannot do it. Just follow the instructions and learn all you can while you’re at it!

What Will You Create for Your Chosen Niche Market?

Okay, you’ve defined your niche market, you know there’s a lot of interest, some healthy competition, you have an idea of what type of money people in that niche are prepared to spend on their all-consuming interest – so, what then, can you make to sell to them?

Don’t Write A Book!

First off, don’t write a book. (Yes, I – an author and ebook writer – really did say that, read on to see why…).

A book tells about something. A course tells how to do something (how to make money, how to find success, how to…). A book has nowhere near the value that a course does. So before you even start writing a book, tell yourself that your writing a course, or creating a course, or any other non-book designation you can think of.

Hmmm, you’ve got the market pinned down and researched their needs, now what?

And, if you’re wondering what particular type of course is suggested, a step-by-step course is best for profits and positioning.

Teach Your Niche – You’ll Succeed on Two Counts

If you can show a potential customer that you can solve their problem, or ensure their success, by teaching them a technique that they can follow in a step-by-step process, then you will have a hot product for your market. Where you’ll find that you not only win financially but you also position yourself as an expert in the niche market – essentially ensuring your future success selling to that market.

How to Set Up A Course for Your Niche Market

You can set up an online course (behind password protection), an email course, or a downloadable ebook.

You know by now I’m sure that can sell nothing but e-books and be plenty successful. But there are times when other venues are more lucrative or are perceived
to have a higher value than a $20 ebook. It’s simply a matter of knowing how much your market is willing to pay, and defining how you want to work at your business – or on any one particular project.

Niche Membership Sites

Here’s why online courses (in password protected directories), also called membership sites, are so popular with marketers right now:

With the right software, you can protect your course from people redistributing it freely across the net. I use ClikGate Pro which only allows people to access the membership area from a pre-designated number of IP addresses. If their username and password access the area from too many IP addresses, ClikGate Pro allows you to easily delete their username and password. But this isn’t something to fret too much over. It doesn’t happen that often (this sharing of userids), as most people interested in self-improvement and learning have high moral values and would never do that.

You can update the content easier. With an e-book, you have to update the page, create the new e-book, then send it to all of your customers and hope they re-download it again. With an online course, you just update the material as you would any other website page. It’s always a good idea to have your customers on file with a mailing list service for times like these so you can easily alert everyone to the new content. Once you become skilled as an online marketer you’ll discover that this type of ‘easy access’ to your customers opens up new income streams for you as you can promote new backend products to a rabid list of buyers as soon as you discover the product.

I truly believe that selling “how to” courses (whether in the form of an ebook or membership site), is simply the easiest way to make money online. If you can show people how to solve one of their most pressing problems – whatever it may be – you will be off to a powerful and lucrative start.

A Good Niche Marketing Guide to Help You

Once I finished writing the free course on niche marketing – to help others start earning money online with a mini-site – I had planned on writing a more in-depth tutorial, but got so side-tracked creating my own niche sites that I had to put the project off for a while.

And, I got to looking around and found many other guides being released…

I had set out to write a guide on the As, Bs and Cs of niche marketing, but after investigation I discovered one had already been written by a pro…

Looking deeper still into the quality of the information available, I have learned that, as with most things in life, you generally get what you pay for.

However, I did find one fantastic resource (supposed to sell for $47) so I begged the author to sell me master resale rights to it – in order that I could pass it along to you at a cheaper price. I don’t think knowledge should cost a fortune, especially to people just getting into the business…it’s the Niche Marketing Guide.

In this arena, going out and finding a cheaper substitute is only going to cost you more than wasting a few dollars. You could pay dearly getting a ’steal of a deal’ on an info product by the time you invested reading and implementing the recommended strategies – especially if the advice doesn’t work!

My Scottish grandmother has a saying – "Buy Cheap – Pay Dear" – if you need me to explain that just drop me a line.

Face it you can learn the hard way (er, like I did!) or you can follow in another successful entrepreneur’s footsteps and get to success faster!

Niche Marketing Guide – A Resource of Systems

If you’re going to buy a ’system’ that walks you through a series of techniques to get you creating an online income faster, then by all means first check out the guru you’re going to follow!

Make sure other people (not just me) recommend their work.

Make sure you can see testimonials on their website.

If they have one, sign up for their free course or newsletter. And by all means, make sure they ‘practice what they preach’ (i.e. if they’re selling you information on how to succeed in a niche market, then they’d better have their hands in a few niche market businesses!).

If you get a product that doesn’t suit your learning style you’ll end up frustrated, as many of the cheaper info-products don’t fill in all the finer details of making money online – leaving you feeling dim and incompetent. That’s no way to start a new business venture!

So, I say, "Get it from one who has gone before you and knows how to teach!"

You might have to pay a little more for the information from the marketer you’ve chosen to follow, but you’ll shave hours off your learning curve and start making money sooner.

One on One Niche Marketing Help

Here’s what I’m happy to do for all my readers…and I’ll do this for anyone who asks…send me a paragraph or so about yourself, the business you’re thinking of starting or information about your existing website. Let me know how much experience you have creating or promoting products online (it is absolutely okay if you are a newbie).

I will do my best at that time to suggest next steps, promotion ideas, website resources, or other products you might like to check out – geared to your experience and interest. I have been on many marketer’s mailing lists for some time and I may be able to match you up with a trusted marketer who you can relate to.

For those of you who are too shy to contact me personally, I strongly endorse Phil Wiley’s info products because he has such broad appeal with both new entrepreneurs and experienced online entrepreneurs alike. Plus, you’ll get a free email consultation — getting that from a busy and successful online marketer is worth it’s weight in gold!

There are people who read my blog or are in my immediate circle that think I talk about Frank Kern way too much.

In fact I talk about Frank Kern almost as much as Ed Dale does!

Although I do think I’m a lot more flattering to Frank than Ed is. As it stands, Frank is one of my online personal heroes for a number of reasons.

"If we keep doing what we’re doing, we’re going to keep getting what we’re getting." — Stephen R. Covey

Let me tell you why I talk so much about a man that I’ve never met in person…

I live in a very small town. Population is under 500. A lot of room for horses and growth but not much of a market for most business. That’s where the internet comes in – and the day I fell in awe of Frank Kern…

A few months after discovering Frank I became so excited about his niche marketing methods – that anyone can succeed with – that at least 200 people in my small town had heard his name and core concepts within just a few weeks of releasing his latest info product. He’s a veritable legend ’round these parts…

The funny bit is – at least 50% of those people don’t even have a personal computer, didn’t have a clue that money could be made online…but they’re listening now!

And, because nothing is ever a secret in a small town, they see my checks coming in the mail from my online ventures – now they’re well aware that I owe much of those profits and checks to Frank and his teachings! (I also talk about Dr. Joe Vitale a lot but that’s another story for another day…)

Frank is, after all, the one who first turned me on to this niche marketing concept – he made it all so crystal clear and easy to understand – which means he has an ability to teach and explain concepts better than 90% of the trainers and authors online today.

BUT…

Get ready for the sad bit…

Frank sold out of his high priced niche marketing program and he’s not selling any more – at least not that I know of…(check123webs.com for Frank Kern to see if you can grab a used copy or any sell offs).

Can Anyone Replace Frank Kern’s Teaching on Niche Marketing?

I took a small stab at it in my free niche marketing course – but it’s only the very basics, you’ll still have to do some research and ground work to get your business up and running.

Few other trainers can match Frank Kern’s style but after hunting around I have something that is perhaps even better for you – and this trainer’s knowledge comes with a much smaller price tag! He’s also not as ‘flamboyant’ as Frank can be at times (which aggravates the heck out of some professionals).

Let me introduce Phil Wiley. Phil has a number of successful niche websites on topics as diverse as lobsters to PVC. His current information package comes with a pile of bonuses, access to a member’s area, website templates to kick start your venture and even a free email consultation! Who can compete with that?

The cost? 1/20 of the price of Frank’s latest info package. Plus, Phil will keep you excited about your future possibilities with his emails, newsletters and free bonuses. You’ll never need another marketer…not even me (but I do hope you come back and visit from time to time)!

Now if you’re really strapped for cash and have to learn this stuff by trial and error, you should at least sign up for this newsletter for some time and money saving tips on niche marketing. You can sign up for this free newsletter here – only sends out mailings about once a month. Phil Wiley’s Newsletter.

Get started right away with a niche market mini site with my recommended Frank Kern replacement.

You’ve decided to enter the online world of making money by selling products and ebooks, but without the right strategy, mission or plan of action you could end up wasting months or years of time on your dream of success. How can I make such a glaring and rude declaration? Because I’ve been there, done that and in some markets I’m still wearing the t-shirt. The point of this post is all about assumptions and how thinking you’ve got it all right could cost you thousands of dollars and hours.

Some marketers will say there’s a market for every product, and they’re probably right in a sense. After all, just this week I heard of the most bizarre product that was selling online – to a very tiny and unbelievable market – and their sales were…low, but at least they were making sales right?

You probably assume that once you’ve decided what you’ll sell you’ll then need to know the best ways of reaching and enticing your market. But actually that’s just a little backward and I hope I caught you in time…

The product was a reproduction of an ancient musical instrument. Pretty tight and tiny niche wouldn’t you say?

Here’s what I want you to think about before you’ve got 1,000s of a product all lined up or hours invested into an info-product.

The first step in the process is to actually find the market you want to sell to online.

The second step is to then find or create the product those people would like to buy.

Too many good marketers go wrong by having this backwards. Here’s why you want to define a market before you settle on a topic.

If you know your market first, you’ll also know how much they’re willing to pay for your product. You’ll know how many products you can expect to sell in a given month. You’ll know, after all that, whether or not it is worth your time and effort creating, obtaining or marketing your product. (And you might just drop it and find a more profitable market as a result.)

So, how does a new online entrepreneur find a hungry market? Through research. I know, dreadfully boring task. BUT, once you’ve done the research a few times I promise you’ll get very excited when you charge forward into profit – and not work yourself to the bone trying to sell ancient musical instruments.

Do your research, get to know your market, determine the price you can set and only then, invest your time into creating or finding the product.

Researching products online generally begins with keywords – the frequency at which particular keywords are typed into search engine search boxes.

After awhile researching ideas and markets will become part of your business ’sixth’ sense, but if you’re brand new to online research I strongly suggest choosing a market that you have knowledge or an interest in – say gardening or auto restoration – and researching keywords around that market.

In short order you’ll see markets that are under-served for the volume of interest and can then consider a product or service to market.

In the free niche marketing course you hopefully gained some confidence on creating your own product.

To write your own product you either have the information already (in your mind, via resources or research you’ve done), or access to an expert.

Write An Information Product for a Niche Market Yourself

If you are ‘blocked’ – starting at a blank screen and don’t know how to get started, visit write an e-book in 7 days – a step-by-step method helping non-authors to break into self-publishing.

On a side note, if you can write but you’re not quite ready to create and sell your own info product, you can earn a fair chunk of cash by freelancing – it’s a great way to boost your career in writing and your confidence. Find thousands of freelance writing and editing jobs…fresh jobs daily. Freelance Writing Jobs

If you’re wondering whether or not your idea for an ebook will sell online and how much you can charge for it as well as how much you’re likely to make per month with it, then check out What’s My Ebook Idea Worth?

Find A Writer, Hire A Writer for your Niche Info Product

If you’ve decided to hire writing talent, there are a number of good places to find writers who are happy to create your product for a fee. You can expect to spend about $150-$450 for a 50-80 page book.

Simply create your ad for an author at anyone of the services below, just mention the subject and estimated length, run your campaign for a week and choose the author you think is best suited for the job. (You might want to review past assignments or samples of their work on the site).

Learn How Joe Vitale and other Marketers Use Public Domain Works

Sometimes they do it quietly while others are quite open about where they got their content for their ebooks. Their secret? They use pre-written books that have entered the public domain! I’ve used them, Joe Vitale has used them, and one marketer makes his business out of finding and re-selling these books in bundles of 8-10.

The ebook that explains how to do this is one of my own from the Smarties© series "Public Domain Profits" and it’s well within your budget…

Buying Resale Rights to products that you can sell over and over again on your own website, by auction sites such as ebay, or even through direct mail flyers, just makes good business sense.

You can quickly add new items to your product line by purchasing a package below, then posting your new product for sale.
Each one of the products I showcase here are personally reviewed, and hand selected for the most in demand topics online today. All are exceptional products packed full of solid information and I’m offering them at the lowest possible prices to help you get started in your online business.

How to Profit with Resale Rights

One way to make money online (without writing your own product or developing your own websites and software) is by purchasing resale rights to in demand, high caliber products that you either hold in high regard, or believe to have huge money-making potential. Once you own the rights, you then can sell the product yourself and keep 100% of the profit.

Now resale rights come in many different flavors. The three most common are basic resale rights, master resale rights, and private label rights. The industry is still relatively fresh so a standard hasn’t really been set on what each term means specifically and each product offering is a little different as well so you’ll want to know your rights, before you buy. I’ve outlined them below for each product I list here.

The online income strategy here is to buy resale rights to any proven sellerebook, software or course and get selling – as you do you’ll be building a customer base as you earn.

The products on this page come with Master Resale Rights which means that after you purchase the product from Smartzville, you are free to resell them online or offline , i.e., on ebay, on CD via direct mail, or on your own website!

I am selling these below the suggested retail price because I want to help my new visitors get their businesses off the ground as well as assist my fellow established marketers to easily add another profit stream to their business. It’s part of Smartzville’s mission.

Here’s the resale rights packages…

Instant Niche Detective – Resale Rights ($19)

This is actually a bundled set of 4 ebooks in total. It is definitely my favorite resource to pass onto others because I give this set much of the credit for my own success! Yes, I learned most of my niche marketing strategies from these ebooks, and upon applying what I learned, have managed to take my online income to new heights.

The content helped me to increase my own skills and save many hours in research and development on lucrative, tightly defined niches. Once I’d finished reading and reviewing I started selling the kit here. You’ll be able to do the same -learn and sell to keep all the profits!

You’ll get the Instant Niche Detective (explains how to perform keyword research, as well as train your brain to spot profitable niches every day – even if you never leave the house!), plus…

Three bonus books that are great products in their own rights. Every time I revisit and review this set I can’t believe I picked them up as part of a package – each one has huge value. These bonuses will take your ability to create ebooks and discover profitable niches to complete understanding. Bonus books are: Quick Niche Product Creation, Targeted Traffic Machines, and Unlimited Adsense Income. The Adsense manual was my least favorite – not because it wasn’t great, just that I don’t have much desire to build my online business on selling off advertising space for pennies a click.

If you’re interested in grabbing these ebooks with master rights for yourself, you can read the sales letter and product info here. Resale Rights to Niche ebooks.

Now the suggested selling price is $47 and although I’d like to comply with the creator’s wishes I have a mission to ensure you get started with your online business as quickly and affordably as possible.

123webs
is currently selling this set at $19. Previously I sold this same product here for $27, over and over again. So, until I’m told by the creator to put the price back up, I’m linking over to 123webs to ensure you don’t come out of pocket too much. This bundle is worth far more than the $19 because you’ll earn so much back – whether you put the techniques into practice for yourself or you simply resell the package over and over again.

I urge you to read the contents of these ebooks twice! The knowledge you’ll gain on research, traffic, advertising income, and niche products will increase your business in more ways than you thought possible!

Internet Business Models – Resale Rights ($97)

This is a prime example of a resale rights product that doesn’t work! I’ve offered this for sale for the last three years – not one sale. It is actually a great product, but the restrictions placed on the sale of it have made many people turn away. Or perhaps the sales letter is poor. Or any number of reasons.

I’m leaving this here because there’s a lesson about paying top dollar for resale rights and never being able to make your money back. The answer to the problem is to change your selling strategy by packing on some bonus products to the offer, offering the product to a different target market, or lowering the price against the author’s wishes. Tactics that in the future, I may or may not employ.

If you’re ready to start earning more, or learning how the top online entrepreneurs earn big money online, you’ll want this insider’s account of 19 internet business models. Models that you can follow, combine, or re-fashion your existing strategy by. Comes with resale rights and website creation shortcuts to help put you in profit faster (even works for new online entrepreneurs – you can earn, as you learn!).

Online Info Product Business – Resale Rights ($19)

Want the goods on how to make money selling info products? Let me introduce you to the many facets of this online business, including all the shortcuts and high end techniques to create, sell, and promote info products while you increase your online income. It’s easier than you think (and cheaper than you’d thought!). This is another resale rights product that is selling cheap over at 123webs.com. Info Riches at 123WEBS.

You can write info products on just about anything and sell them. (The real trick is to write an ebook or course that many people will want. Discovering what people want is covered in other pages on this site.)

There are many ways to come up with info product ideas. You can start by asking yourself what you are good at – good enough that you could help others obtain your talents.

You might also consider common questions that people have, but never have the time to research or investigate.

Here are a few examples of talents or questions to get your creative juices flowing:

How on earth are you going to come up with an info product idea? “If you haven’t written a thing since high school or you’re not sure what topic to write on, this article should help get the creative ideas flowing and you on your way to discovering lucrative ideas…” — Laura Childs, May 19, 2006

Can a homeowner really save money by using free coupons (or refinancing their mortgage, or upgrading appliances to energy efficient models, etc.)? How much?

Are you a talented cook? Do you have a unique cooking style? Family recipes or time-saving techniques?

Have you accomplished something great (such as lose a lot of weight quickly or tame a wild horse)?

Have you pulled off something truly positive, but difficult, that changed your life and others want to do as well? Quit smoking maybe? Get out of debt?

Is there anything that you once had a problem with that you have found the solution to? Dealing with a nasty mother-in-law or forgiving your husband for cheating? Would other people want to know how to do the same?

What you’ll need to do next is to take the idea that you come up with, see if any similar products exist, then turn it into as many product ideas as you possibly can.

Re-arrange your info product ‘topic’ ideas into every variation that you can think of.

This isn’t hard at all to do, just write down your ideas, whatever they may be. And as you toy with each topic you’ll find that your mind will spin off variations of each – actually you’ll find the real creative ideas will come when you’re not trying to come up with the ideas, like when you’re in the shower or painting the hallway.

You may at times come up with an idea that you think is stupid – WRITE IT DOWN ANYWAY! You never know, that crazy idea may be the one that everybody will pay good money for!

If you have not accomplished or do not know anything similar to the items in the bulleted list above, then think of your friends’ talents or accomplishments.

Often our own feelings of lack of creativity disallow us to see our special gifts – evaluating our friends’ triumphs is a great way to start finding idea topics.

Teaming Up or Out-Sourcing Talent for Your Info Product

Once you’ve found your idea it’s time to create the product. You can hire someone to do any or all aspects of your info product business from writing the actual product to creating the website you’ll be selling it on.

For instance, I’ve engaged my sister to write a ‘work on a cruise ship’ product as well as a weight loss guide (she has personal experience with both and we’ve investigated and found a market for these topics).

Once she has completed each info product, I will turn them into ebooks or online courses. We’ll add a powerful sales letter to the home page of our new sites and have two more automated cash streams!

Then we can move on to other product ideas.

Once an info product has been created and a website established for the sale of it all that’s left is promotion – and there are shortcuts to website and info product promotion. Enough shortcuts that you can move onto your next product, since order processing and delivery will all be automated.

Of course you don’t have to move on. You can stay with one business idea and make the most of it, continuing to earn an income by adding in some affiliate promotions through email subscribers of customers or website visitors.

There is absolutely no reason why you can’t do this as well! Just remember to test your list of product ideas with the "What Will People Buy" method before you begin the actual writing of your product.

You’ve Decided To Write Your Own Info Product

Here are a few tips to keep in mind when writing your info product…

You need to write directly to the person who is reading. Write as you
would speak – directly to your reader – not to a group of readers.

You’ve Decided To Write…Here’s How to Write Your Info Product

For instance if I said ‘everyone reading this’ or ‘you all can do this’ instead of ‘you’, you probably would have stopped reading this page 6 paragraphs ago. But due to my choice of writing style and the fact that I am writing this page just for ‘you’ (yes, you!) you’ve stayed to read on.

Use any tips you’ve gleaned from ad copy writing when writing your info product. That particular style is enjoyed and appreciated by readers of all types.

Be direct.

Use short sentences.

Use exciting words.

Use sub-headlines.

Use bullets.

Use fast moving copy.

Essentially anything that gets to the point and helps your reader absorb your material (and not struggle with content) is good copy.

You want to keep your readers attention. Don’t ramble.

Stay on the subject. Your readers will become frustrated or even angry if they think they are about to read something based on an article’s headline only to discover that the author rambles off into an entirely different subject that is unrelated.

Use examples. Examples help your reader grasp other viewpoints and/or aspects of the topic. Not only for clarity, providing examples also lends credibility to the topic.

Share personal accounts, friend’s experiences, and items from the news. These ’stories’ are great motivators to your reader, as well as an aid to remember the key points you’re sharing with them.

You’ll notice I did this a few paragraphs back when I mentioned my sister. These true accounts promote belief that a goal is within reach of all.

One Final Thought on Writing An Info Product

Finally, if you keep in mind that you are not writing a product to make money, but primarily to assist your reader, you’ll end up with happy customers, word of mouth referrals, product excellence awards, and a personal sense of having accomplished something truly helpful. Remember, money only lasts so long – helping others will always serve you well -either in memories or in future business.

…one of the easiest ways to make money online…

If you already know a thing or two about me, you’re probably wondering how I survive financially in this one horse town and still have time to home school my daughter, run a farm, craft and spend time with my family…

The answer is Niche Marketing!

What I’ve been doing, you can surely do as well!

Are you interested in making money online to either subsidize or replace your current income? It’s not as hard as you might think, but there is a learning curve.

"If you are ready to commit to online success, don’t wait a moment more. The answer is here for you – invest this time in yourself and your future today."

Turn your interests and hobbies into an online source of income. You could potentially and dramatically change your lifestyle, your surroundings and your peace of mind about the future.

Some will tell you that you can work when you want and that it all runs on autopilot, but that’s not entirely true…

You see you have to learn the ropes of making money online. Work with the tools and automate your efforts. When you’ve reached a relatively high level of success you’ll be much freer – no reporting Monday to Friday from 9 to 5 – and continue earn as you learn. It’s all up to you, there’s no fast and super easy route – but once you learn how to do it, you can apply the principles and techniques into more profitable markets and keep increasing your income.

(It took me nearly a year to learn and replace my income – now I’m working on replacing my husband’s income so he can retire as well.)

There’s nothing terribly difficult about it if you’re dedicated.

And if you are dedicated, then this introductory course on niche marketing is for you!

I originally wrote this course while I was learning the ropes myself. You’ll find the text is geared for up and coming entrepreneurs to grasp quickly. Putting this knowledge under your belt will move you into the next phase of internet marketing in short order – the money-making phase!

This is:

…a short learning program to an entrepreneurial activity that you can duplicate at will, once you have the concept down.

…knowledge you can absorb within twenty minutes (that will empower you to start an online venture in a weekend’s time).

…a great way to earn some money for retirement or to buy that country home you’ve always wanted.

… the niche marketing technique and list of tools I have researched and used (that I discovered by watching and listening to some high-income earners online).

This will require some time, some brain matter, and some money. Stay with me for 20 minutes – not much of either money or time are required. All I want is your time, this course is completely free – you can keep your wallet tucked safely into your back pocket.

What this isn’t:

…not a get-rich-quick scheme.

…not an MLM opportunity.

…not a scam, nor do you have to scam anyone to make money.

…not a ‘pitch’ to get you to buy something from me.

Would you like to increase the value of your product idea to either make more sales or charge a higher price? Audio products are the fastest solutions and even the answer to having a great idea but no expertise. How? Interview an expert.

Here’s all the tips on creating audio products, offering transcriptions of the product and why you should do this, as well as how to interview an expert in your niche market industry.

Creating Audio Info Products

Creating audio tapes or online audio is a lot easier than you’d think but we’ve got to get you over the first ‘hump’ of actually doing it. In some ways, this is much easier than creating an ebook or written how-to course.

Everybody, even you and I, can think much quicker then they can speak, and everybody can speak much quicker then they can type (even if you’re a professional high-speed typist!).

And, if you have no confidence in your writing skills, are suffering from writer’s block, or are intimidated by the blank screen or paper on your desktop, audio is likely the solution to your problem.

I only suggest creating an audio info product for niche markets if you are an expert and know the subject well. If you have a product idea however and you don’t the topic well, the solution is in an interview with an expert (see below).

You can create niche market audio products a few ways:

Buy an MP3 player with a built in recorder. You can get these really cheap now on ebay, at your local Radio Shack or do what I did – borrowed my teenage daughter’s when she was at school! Her’s cost lest than $50.

If you are on a really tight budget, just buy a computer microphone or headphones with a built in microphone. Tie your hair back, don’t move your head around too much, close your office door so the dogs don’t come in and bark, etc., and record right onto your computer. This is the simplest, and cheapest way to go.

If you have a CD burner on your computer, you can create the audio file, then turn it into a CD. Now you have an audio course on CD, which raises the perceived value over a downloadable info product. But we’re getting ahead of ourselves…

Getting Started with Your Audio Product

You are going to want to write down the titles and sub-titles to the subjects you will be talking about on the audio tape. This will obviously help you to flip right through the content and talk about your topic with some organization.

Tips to get you talking and recording:

Sit in a comfortable chair in a quiet room completely alone. You are going to have to translate your thoughts into words rather quickly and distractions will not help. Some people like to pace as they record, but if your equipment is very responsive to external sounds your listener will hear your footsteps. This is why you should always run a quick sound check.

Follow the guidelines laid out in writing your niche market info product.

Use examples, personal accounts, be exciting and interesting, don’t talk in a monotone voice, stay on topic, and so on.

Usually, you’ll have to do a few practice runs to get yourself going and the audio adjustments set just right for your surroundings and stirrings (computer fan kicking in, children reminded not to disturb you, etc.) After those trial runs, you will get ‘on a roll’ with it, and if you’re really excited about your topic you’ll probably over-run your pre-alloted time.

How to Get More Money for Your Niche Market Audio Products

This is so easy that I don’t know why more marketers, authors or experts don’t do it more often. If you make a professionally edited transcript of your audio product, you can charge about 20% more to your sale price.

How to Create Transcripts from Your Audio Product

Audio transcripts help customers to research key points within your product without having to listen to the entire series again or skip through your audio product. Transcripts are a huge value-added service to your customers and they’ll recognize it immediately. Some will even read along as they listen – but often the content in a transcript will vary somewhat to the actual audio (we like to edit out the “ahs, ums, and okays”). However, by reading as well as listening more information is absorbed.

Now that you know the reasons to provide a transcript, how will you create it? If you’re on a tight budget, type it out yourself, turn it into an Adobe pdf file and offer it as a bonus within the niche market audio sales page of your website or ebay auction. You can also hire a transcripter or typist from elance.com or any other freelancing website at around $1 per page.

Physical Product Sales PLUS A Bonus Download

If you using direct mail to sell and distribute your audios, you can still use the power of internet access and instant gratification by promoting your niche market audios as “Order today and receive instant access to the transcript of this audio course while you wait for your CDs to arrive.”

Audio Interviews – What to Do When You’re Not the Expert

If you haven’t gotten your head around the fact that you have something of value to offer to potential customers, you can still create great niche market audio products by simply finding and interviewing experts. Experts (in any field) love to be interviewed. Interviews give experts exposure, status and an opportunity to promote their own products or services.

Audio interview niche market products are very powerful, instantly credible in your customers mind, and easy to sell. Credibility ensures sales success when woven neatly into a sales letter as it is one of the difficult hurdles that your customer must pass over to click that order button.

If you interview an expert (or how about a few experts?) in any industry, then write your sales letter around that expert (or experts) and the benefits he/she talks about in the interview, then you are selling the expert’s knowledge, you are simply the brilliant marketer that has brought the information to the masses. Once you’ve created audio interview products with some success, you may find that the experts start seeking you out, so be ready for future products! You never know what’s coming next!

How to Get An Expert to Commit to An Audio Interview?

As I said above, experts love to give interviews. Just pick a few experts (from the yellow pages, trade magazines, newspapers, etc.) and give them a call. A phone call works far better than an email. Emails are deleted and forgotten, or filtered out by spam software. Phone messages left on professional’s machines are never ignored.

Write out the questions ahead of time and collaborate with your expert on sub-topics, items of interest, etc. Remember that this is a partnership of sorts and since they know their market best, they should be allowed some input into the content and topics discussed.

You can perform the interview right over the phone and record it directly to MP3 or any other format you choose. In a few days I’m releasing a product that makes this dead easy and very inexpensive. Drop me a line if you want to be notified as soon as it’s released.

Once you have the audio interviews ready to sell start transcribing or seeking a typist to add extra value to your niche market product package.
