Building Ebay Stores that Make Money with Laura Childs

The website building script that just keeps getting better and making more money for me. Build a Niche Store (review). This web page answers some of the more typical questions I've been getting about the ebay script (BANS). Below you'll find certified copies of questions and answers between my visitors and I.

About Build A Niche Store (BANS) and Smartzville

First off, let's clear the air on the relationship I have with the Build A Niche Store website building script...

I did not create, write or recommend features of this script.

I've been using this script since it was first released to the public, and I love it. I don't plan on stopping my use of it anytime soon. I've been online, working from home, since my daughter was nearly 3 years old and she's just turned 13. Only in the last 3 years have I become a public figure.

Throughout the years I have tried many ways to run an online business and earn a profit. Some days I'm bold enough to think I've tried everything and know it all.

I am a purchaser and a user of this script - from version one to the latest version that includes creating online stores for the United Kingdom.

All things considered (namely that I don't know it all), this website building script is still my top pick for earning money online. Truly I don't believe there is any easier way to build a website, ready to earn money, within one day of owning the software.

I do not personally know the programmers, the marketers, or the owners of this script.

My only contact with the programmers has been through their email support and my very verbal support of their diligence and generosity of sharing this script with us. The programmers have always been fast to reply to my questions and very helpful.

Every testimonial, every review and every blog post I have written has been my honest opinion of this product, personal experience, and income results.

Q and A with Laura Childs (Smartzville) about BANS

As good as it is, I do get questions from people just like you that I'd like to share.

Q: Do the developers support the product and their customers?

A: Some of the best support I've seen in the business. Just last week I had to use the support desk because my laptop had a hard drive failure and I lost my BANS files. Within 12 hours I had a fresh link emailed to me and a personal note.

A: An entire member's only forum is available where other BANS owners, the program developers and graphics and script-savvy helpers on hand.

Q: "I'm wondering how BANS is working for you? I have a url registered with GoDaddy...could you share a little of your experiences with me? My goal would be to utilize my site with sub-domains and build a site very similar to your niche store. By that I mean having real value added information rather than what the other success story links at the official BANS site shows..."

A: I don't mind answering your questions on Build A Niche Store - I do love the program so. I don't know how well any of the other sites do with their eBay stores, but my stores (even the low traffic, not well indexed, non-promoted stores) make money every month without fail. I've never gone the route of a sub-domain but I know that many have. A few nice features of BANS is that the programmers are two of the most helpful product owners I've ever run across and there is a busy and helpful member's only forum included. I'm not sure what else I could tell you...I like to tweak and modify my templates (which slows down getting my stores up and running) and for me, a very low-level programmer, this takes some 'quiet time' - away from interruptions like the phone and children. Again, the guys are very helpful if you plan to go this route. Let me know if there's any way I can help you further. http://www.smartzville.com/ebay.htm Laura Childs

Q: "I'm one of your loyal followers and I take your advice and recommendations quite seriously. That's why when I read your review about the product - Build A Niche Store (BANS), I immediately became interested to order it right away. However, since I live in the Philippines where a PayPal subscriber like myself could only send money to purchase products online but are not allowed to withdraw money through PayPal (unfair but true), I just want to know how I may get my affiliate commission from eBay should I make a sale from my BANS? Do they issue checks for non-PayPal countries? Please help me clarify this as I really would like to order the product. It's just what I need to earn extra income on my websites and blogs. Any advice from you will be very much appreciated."

A: Commissions received as a result of eBay sales are processed through CommissionJunction.com - Getting an account with them is free and they send checks in the mail or do direct deposit for a fee. I understand your concern about PayPal and have read that before from other subscribers.

What I'm not 100% certain on is CommissionJunction's ability to pay to the Philippines - perhaps you already know that answer? Actually, here's what I suggest you do regardless. Sign up for a free CJ account and apply to the eBay program within. You don't want to buy BANS only to find that eBay is being selective! With that said, the guys who sell BANS are awesome - they would grant you a refund in moments if you had any trouble with the script or with eBay's affiliate program. In 1997 or 98, I signed up for my first CJ account. Back then, they had trouble with Canadian accounts if you can believe it - gosh we're only a few inches away from the US. I opted to be paid in US dollars and I think that eased the process. I do think that now though they've got it all together with all the countries. I have a friend who is a Canadian and he uses US addresses as his place of business. The US post box forwards his mail to his Canadian address. I wonder if that would be something you could do as well, if you're really stuck? Now, my last little bit of advice. Sell hot and expensive products with your BANS store - electronics, website opportunities, etc. I have quite a few stores now running on autopilot in several niches but I love my higher priced product sites best! :) There's a little link at the bottom of every BANS store you create that links to BANS with your affiliate link. I edited mine all out, but as you know it's a ClickBank product so you can earn money there too. Order BANS or get your free ClickBank affiliate account.

Q: "I've been trying to make money online for 5 years now and I'm still struggling to earn a decent income each month. All I get is a measly $100.00 average from Google Adsense. I presently have four websites but the sad fact is,  none of them is making much money. If you can spare some time in the near future, kindly give me more advice on how I can succeed in this business. My focus right now is to build a website where I can introduce my BANS stores..."

A: I freelanced from home building websites for the first few years as well for a high $ rate, but soon decided that there was more money and less time constraints building sites for myself - way more! This is exactly what you should be doing, you've already got some experience with online business, now get building! You can get a hosting account for $8/month that lets you host multiple sites with one account. (You probably know that though.) Lose the Adsense, it's a pennies game - not worth losing traffic over. Build your Ebay stores with BANS and instead of Adsense promote some affiliate products in the sidebar. The Adsense makes the site look spammy sort of...and you'll make more off Ebay when you control the clicks leaving your website. Besides what do you think those Adsense publishers are going to do with your traffic once they get them for 2 cents a click? They're going to make money off them! You get 2 cents and they make tens of dollars. Be smart and careful about traffic leaving your sites.

My Make More Money with Ebay Niche Stores (BANS) tips:

Add content that is uniquely yours to your website via a blog, html pages or visitor forum. It doesn't take much, just a few pages to make your website unique and more 'searchable' for the search engines. Then again, the search engines aren't the only way to get website visitors...UPDATE: BANS 1.3 is a complete website building script - now allowing you to change advertising from Adsense to your choice of adverts as well as create content pages! I didn't think this software could get better, but it has!

As stated above, once your store is built, lose the Adsense ads - you don't make anywhere near as much money off an Adsense click than you would with an Ebay purchase.

If not enough of your visitors are buying products they find in your Ebay site listings, then ad other affiliate opportunities in your sidebar. You'll already have an account with  CJ - I'm sure you'll find lots of worthwhile and high-converting products to promote in the sidebar of your ebay niche stores.

Stop back in later to read more tips about this great income-producing website script or just go ahead and order now. Purchases get a detailed step by step guide to creating an ebay store, access to a member's only forum, an 8 week money back guarantee, and fast support from the product creators. If you can't make money with a BANS store, then it's time to give up trying to make money online...
