Article Marketing Submission
There are a lot of rules put out there by the various article directories, and the rules are there for good reason. Article submission sites were originally developed to allow people to share their informational and well written content with the masses, and provide content for those who could not or would not write for themselves. This is no longer the case, but in an effort to maintain some integrity the article directories have become more strict in their submission guidelines.
The way that they can be more strict in their guidelines is by hiring human editors. For most of the quality article submission sites, you will now have to have your first so many articles read and edited by a human editor. Once you have passed their numerous tests, you are allowed to post to the sites automatically. However, you will still be subject to random reviews and editing, and if you do not follow the rules you can be banned.
Of course, there are still quite a few article submission sites that have much more lenient rules and guidelines, but these are quickly becoming discounted by the search engines and by human readers. After all, everything on the net is becoming more and more about informational content and less and less about popularity.
The rules are generally quite simple. You can’t use affiliate links in the body of the article, if you are allowed to use links at all. You cannot keyword stuff your articles, and strict keyword density rules are in place to enforce this. If you really want to win people over and market successfully, follow the rules.
