I know, or think I understand that XML is used for RSS. Now with the XML sitemap,
is this something you do with a regular
html website as well. You have an xml sitemap hooked into an html website?

Since first writing this post I've tested a few of these programs and submitted one of my niche site's new XML sitemap to Google.

I can't say with 100% certainty but within 8 hours of submitting my sitemap, 10 new pages were visited and indexed by google. Perhaps a fluke in timing, but the XML sitemap may have been the catalyst.

Either way it took 15 minutes to set up and I got to tell google which pages to ignore and which pages to give higher relevance to.

Save all your money! If you use Dreamweaver MX you can get an extension for it that builds an XML sitemap for your page in liek two seconds and then you just upload to your server. A freind was about to buy a product when I found this and we both installed it and it was soooooo easy. Forget the other solutions. Of course if you don't use DW MX then it is a mute point...

Search Google for Dreamweaver Extensions and Sitemap

You are simply awesome. Despite you being a rural-based chicken/horse farmer, there is never a dull moment with you! ;-) If there's one thing I can count on from you, it's getting the real deal spoken straight and true, and I value that tremendously.

One of the problems we're facing is that the "guru" marketers don't seem to offer too many residual income opportunities so they end up having to invent new products or services constantly. As such, they twist things to seem more important than they are, and that's what I can't stand.

Thanks for highlighting this latest round of "twisting" and hopefullly saving people a lot of money and trouble. I found this post worthy enough to share with the HowToCorp Forum which should get it a tremendous amount of press.

Keep up the great work. Thank you!
