Glad to hear you're moving forward!

Yes, there is a lot to learn. Just don't let it paralyze you...too often we get so consumed with the information - and this stands for nearly every new marketer - that we find months pass us by and we haven't yet made a sale. Better to do something not quite perfect, than never get to the launch. There is much you can learn as you go...

As for a host, and for first time out, I suggest globat. You can take the smallest package and have more than you need at less than $8/month.

The control panel is intuitive and feature rich, etc. There are other hosts I promote for a higher commission, but globat is the best - 5 of my 10 sites are on globat, I did this even knowing that it isn't always best to have all your sites on one host.

All pdf files can be viewed by both PC and MAC, no matter how you create them. That's the beauty of pdf. When I first started out I would make my pdfs online at adobe for free. You sign up for a free trial account and it allows you to make 10 pdfs. Nothing to buy, until you're making money, then you can invest in something else...

I create all my documents in MS Word, then convert them to pdf. Anything that can go into a word file can transfer seamlessly to pdf - pictures, charts, drawings, etc.

Hope all this helps!

Hello again Laura,

I have read this book and the What's My Ebook Idea Worth? book.

I am sorry I have been silent for a few days. I have been busy reading as much free stuff as I can get ahold of and cramming my brain full of good info.

I have been working on my book. After doing more research online, using your wonderful tips in the ideaworthbook, I believe I have a marketable product. But I want to spend more time on it now that I have seen what else is out there. I feel it needs to be fleshed out more, plus I want to have graphics, so I am working on some pages that I can scan and use in the book.

I still have to figure out how to set up a website, and have asked my daughter if she would play around and try to figure it out for me. What do you recommend as far as host/domain? Do they have programs on the host programs to help you write your page? I just don't have the time (or desire) to learn html right now.

I want you to know how much I appreciate the information in your book. It did just what it said it would. I now know how to take an idea and find out if it really is worth pursuing.

A couple more questions if you would.

One of the sites I visited recommended another PDF program other than Adobe (which I can't afford anyway :). They said it could be viewed by Mac users as well. I can't think of the name of it this minute, I'd have to dig a little to find it. What do you recommend? Will PDF files accept pictures?

Thanks again!
