Clicking through Joe's blog, and perhaps somewhere else, I also found an easy one to use for those of us who are blog-idiots, just getting our feet wet. PingMyBlog (editor's note - pingmyblog no longer in service - this link goes to blogflux)
pings weblogs.com
blogrolling
blogshares
technorati
blo.gs
feedburner
syndic8
yahoo

Works using the rss url. Pretty idiot-proof.

When Pingomatic's Down...

At long last I can ping loads of sites in a few seconds in a pretty design. For the last two days I’ve been (pathetically) manually pinging various sites until Vox Efx told be about this service called Blogomatic.

For the first time since I've been using pingo it's not working. Anyone else having a problem, and what can I do about it?
