Ecommerce became possible in 1991 when the Internet was opened to commercial use. Since that time it has evolved from online billboards to a fully functional, personalized shopping experience. A major turning point came when people started to trust online shopping, and then the business started picking up. Among the numerous inventions necessary for ecommerce to survive is the online shopping cart. The shopping cart is made by software that allows the buyer to shop quickly and easily – and it is perhaps the most important invention.

There are several e-Commerce store-management software programs available on the Internet at present. The three major ones are OsCommerce and its two spin-offs – Zen Cart and CRE Loaded. Zen Cart and CRE Loaded are similar to the osCommerce core set of operations. OsCommerce is considered the simplest version of ecommerce website and is widely used with stores that do not have a lot of traffic. Zen Cart is considered to be the most user friendly ecommerce system. CRE Loaded is considered to be the most comprehensive and comes with by far the most included options and features which can be activated or deactivated as the owner wishes.

The development of CRE Loaded began after Chain Reaction Ecommerce was founded in 2001 and was undertaken in response to hosting customer demands. Created from the direct feedback of thousands of customers and users, the features and capabilities of CRE Loaded are grounded in real capabilities that are fully tested in the real world.

CRE Loaded currently has 39 additional modules over and above the many that are already included in the default OsCommerce installation. CRE Loaded also offers powerful shopping cart solutions in both the free and paid editions. CRE Loaded has a better template system and its “affiliate manager” allows you to specify the per sale payment percentage rate for each of your affiliate accounts as well as providing a tiered structure that is based on sales performance.

Basic reporting tools are also included, showing the products viewed, purchased, and customer orders total. A database backup manager is also a part of the tool set, as is a basic newsletter setup for e-mailing to your customers – which means that you have online marketing without having to pay for that service.

Product Management with CRE Loaded is very simple. You can add new products to your store in no time. You have a tool for adding products and categories and there is no limitations on the number of products, categories and subcategories. You can easily copy and move products between categories as well. CRE Loaded also offers you Advanced Product Management capabilities, which includes no limitations for attributes determined to products and option type features.

The only drawback for CRE Loaded is that it might seem a little more difficult to manage at first because of all this variety of features. But the new 6.2 version offers a solution to this. In addition to five new menus, it features a better organization and layout. It has a new Admin “Control Center” – that comes in two versions – a PRO version with additional functions for power users and a FREE one for normal users. Plus, security and fraud protection is improved and the installation is made even easier with a new installer.

In regard to concerns about standards compliance, the CRE Loaded system benefits greatly by having a quality standards compliant template design.

With CRE Loaded templates you can set up your webshop designs and optimized layouts for many different types of businesses: your personal online store, huge corporate online store, or an offline presentation. CRE Loaded templates are easy-to-install and easy-to-customize designs – saving you time and money. CRE Loaded templates come with all the necessary files to start your CRE Loaded online store. These files include: PHP, CSS, and image files. Installation instructions and outstanding support services are provided with every template. The database of CRE Loaded Templates has the very highest level of security which makes CRE Loaded eCommerce stores more popular with users.

On a final note, with more than 100,000 units in distribution, an aggressive release schedule and numerous industry partnerships, Chain Reaction Ecommerce and CRE Loaded will remain at the forefront of eCommerce well into the future.

Search engine marketing (SEM) is a term that every business with a website needs to know about. This is because the large majority of internet users today utilize search engines to find the products, services and information about businesses that they need. With more than 90 percent of internet users relying on search engines, SEM should be a top priority for any business. You can save time trying to gather information from an SEM forum, read on to gain insight into the valuable SEM products that are available to your business.

One of the main things you will find out from reading SEM materials is that SEO is the primary technique for successfully marketing your website. It is one of the most important web marketing tools, as it enables your website to gain a higher ranking in search engine listings. This is crucial because the majority of internet users naturally gravitate towards websites that are in the beginning pages of search engine results.

var ch_queries = new Array( );
var ch_selected=Math.floor((Math.random()*ch_queries.length));
if ( ch_selected < ch_queries.length ) {

A reputable SEM firm can provide SEO technologies that are effective in driving relevant traffic your site. Optimizing your site leads to a high sales conversion rate at a relatively low cost when compared to other SEM methods. Understanding how the combined use of the two types of search engine optimization can maximize the potential of your website is important. These two types include:

Organic Search Engine Marketing

Organic SEO is a search engine marketing method that uses algorithms to ensure that the major search engines place your website in higher priority in its list of results. Increasing the volume of traffic to your website through organic search engine techniques enables you to specifically reach your target market, attracting internet users that are already looking for content relevant to your business.

Organic SEO is relatively inexpensive when compared to almost all other marketing strategies, and the low investment it takes to optimize for your relevant search terms pays long term dividends. Establishing a strong internet presence for your business, organic SEO also helps reduce the cost of and prepare your site for Pay Per Click campaigns.

Organic search engine marketing produces excellent results over the long term, however it can take months to establish your sites relevancy with the search engines. This is why it is recommended to employ a strategy that also includes inorganic methods as well.

Inorganic or Paid Search Engine Marketing

Producing faster results than organic search engine marketing, inorganic or paid search engine marketing can also be used to generate traffic to your website. It helps by placing your site directly in front of your target audience in exchange for a fee. Paid search engine optimization can help to increase brand awareness and generate traffic to your site. It produces compounding benefits over time, as customers will increasingly visit your site directly.

Some of the most commonly used inorganic (SEO) methods include Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns, banners, and paid advertisements on sites like Yahoo, MSN and Google. PPC technologies can be used to help businesses create instant traffic to their site, as well as enabling businesses to monitor results.

Combining Strategies

A combination strategy of organic and inorganic search engine marketing methods is the best route to maximizing the online reach of your business. A strategy utilizing both organic and inorganic search engine marketing techniques as well as a full range of SEM tools would emphasize:

Directory Submission: Submitting your website to the available online directories.

Article Submission: Submitting articles about your business and services to online article forums.

Press Release Creation and Submission: Providing up to date information and content about your business that is readily available to online users.

Keyword Research: Extensive analysis to identify the appropriate keywords to use in page titles, headers, subtitles, page copy and internal linking. The success of SEM services depends on determining which of the terms relevant to your business that people are most often searching for.

Link Building: Link building is develops relevant, keyword rich inbound links to your site.

Meta Tag Optimization: Meta tags provide information about a web page, and are employed to help search engines categorize information correctly.

Site Architecture and Maintenance: Developing and strengthening the navigation structure of your site, including inter-page relationships, inner site linking and page linking, will ensure search engine spiders can pick up the content on your site. An seo consultant can index your pages, remove session Ids, and address other barriers to a search engine friendly site. These steps are vital to produce the most effective SEM services.

Social Media Optimization: Social media optimization is a highly effective way of establishing a strong presence and interest in your site. It involves promoting your site through user generated content on sites such as YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. In addition, article sharing sites such as Digg allow you to share content that relates to your business and the interests of your target market. The growing number of online communities presents an enormous opportunity to network with your target audience through highly effective word of mouth advertising. Social media optimization is also highly beneficial for brand marketing.

Blog Marketing: Promoting your blog stimulates interest in your website and drives interested repeat visitors to your site.

Businesses of all sizes can greatly benefit from consulting with an SEM expert. An experienced SEM company can help your organization successfully implement the latest in search engine marketing methods. In addition, a reputable SEM company can provide a completely custom approach based on your requirements and goals.

“I’ve got too much to do, I’ve just got too much to do!”

We have all said it and we have all lived it. I call this particular kind of stress Too Much To Do stress, or TMTD stress. When we feel TMTD stress, we typically have one or both of the following reactions. We either just say the heck with it and let everything pile up. Or we try to do it all and make ourselves and those around us miserable.

Another, more powerful and useful solution is to write it down, break it down, and knock it down.

Write it down

When we take the time to write down all the things we have to do, we reap at least two key benefits:

1)We keep it from running around in our heads over and over again.

2)We are able to put it outside of ourselves, which allows us to step back and get a better picture of what is in front of us.

It’s a cop-out to claim you don’t have time to write it all down. You are right that it will take a few minutes, but they are minutes well-spent that will save you time and stress.

Get a sheet of paper and divide it into four columns. In the first column list all the things that you need to do. They are now on paper, which makes them much more manageable than when they are taking up space in your head.

When we continually say “I’ve got too much to do,” we see all of our tasks as one huge unmanageable job. It’s like trying to eat a pizza in one big bite. You choke and can’t do it. We eat a pizza by cutting it into slices and then eating it a bite at a time. Do the same thing with your to-do list.

After you have written goals down, the next step is to break them into manageable pieces. You can get a lot done a little bit at a time.

So now, back to your sheet of paper. In the first of the four columns, you have written down all the tasks you want to complete. The next three columns are for each of the next three days, over which you are going to divide all the tasks on your to-do list. Break your tasks down by scheduling some on day one, some on day two and some on day three.

In this way, you have taken this long list of things to do, and broken them down into manageable pieces that you can do over three or more days.

Once you have written it down and broken it down, you will have renewed energy to get things done, to knock these things down.

If you notice that some of these items no longer seem as important, discard them and move onto the next task.

It’s important to remember that if you do not get everything done that is scheduled for one day, the course of history will probably not be affected. Just do it the next day. Remember, the point of this exercise is to reduce your stress, not increase it.

Write it down, break it down, knock it down, and send that Too Much To Do stress packing.

How to get readers for your blog?

Use these 10 tips to create blog traffic:

1. Ensure your content is everywhere on the internet. All the content should link back to your blog.Promote your content in promotion videos and promotion e-books.

2. Keep “the main thing the main thing” and concentrate on article writing. Stay focused on writing good unique content. Be a student of experienced copywriters and make a decision to become a good copywriter yourself.

3. Be consistent and be persistent. Continuously submitting new and original content over time and promoting this content will get noticed by bloggers and will generate visistors to your blog.

4. Do not wait until you know everything or until you have perfected your copywriting skills. Learn as you go along. Just make a start. Make a decision to implement one new copywriting technique in each new article.

5. Use as many tools as possible to save you time and keep you focusing on article writing. With online marketing time is money. If you could use a tool to save you time consider getting it.

6. Do not submit the same article to several article directories. Take the original article and create variations of it. Use tools to assist if you can.

7. Use these variation articles as promotion articles to promote your original content on your blog.

8. Submit these promotion articles to as many article directories as possible. Use tools to assist with the article submission.

9. Generate interest to read your articles by actively promoting your good and beneficial content in as many places as possible.

10. Make videos promoting the articles on your blog and submit these videos to video sharing networks. Use tools to help you to submit these videos to as many networks as possible.

Avoid these 5 mistakes

Take note of these five points if you want to create visitors to your blog:

1. Avoid pointing all of your content at only one page. You must have two pages, a blog and a lead capture page.

2. All your articles submitted to article directories should always link back to your blog.

3. There should always be a ‘difficult to resist offer” to get the reader of your blog to opt-in to your list.This is where you convert your visitors to leads.

4. Do not submit the same article to hundreds of article directories.It is imperative that you submit articles that differ in Google’s view.

5. Do not think that submission of one or two articles to a few article directories will be sufficient to create blog traffic. Exceptional action is required if you want to attract enough visitors to generate leads from.

Follow these 10 tips consistently and avoid these 5 common mistakes when you write your article promotion and you will find that the traffic to your blog will explode. Consistency is very important.

Most search engine optimization experts will tell you that you must build lots of one-way incoming links to your blog and the content of your blog must be targeted towards precise key phrases for your niche market.

It’s imperative to establish which key phrases are right for your niche, deciding on too broad a term can land you with some very hefty competition and make it almost impossible to rank well in the search engines.

Below you’ll find a couple of web sites that let you do free keyword research:

·	http://www.wordtracker.com/free-trial.html

·	https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

Once you have found your targeted list of key phrases that best match your niche market you are ready to embark on optimizing your blog for better search engine rankings and thus greater organic search engine traffic. Keywords with a higher search volume and low competition, should be your goal

Probably the two most imperative uses of your key phrases for search engine optimization is on-page and off-page optimization.

On page – Make one article or web page per keyword, therefore creating a new keyword targeted post or page for each keyword on your list. Avoid stuffing your content with just key phrases, you should target a keyword density of between 1 and two percent per article.

Off-page optimization – using your key phrases when submitting to directories, taking part in link exchanges and article marketing is perhaps one of the best search engine optimization techniques there is.

1.	When adding your blog to online directories try and include your main keyword in the title.

2.	You can request a keyword targeted text link to other web site owners when performing link exchange, but some web sites may in pose some limitations.

3.	For optimum results, use your key phrases as anchored text links in your articles bio, and deep-link to different pages on your website.

These search engine optimization techniques will help forge a strong basis and will significantly aid you in dominating your niche market.

In the resource box you are ready to receive – the readers clicking through to your web site to become visitors, subscribers, prospects and customers.

Many people falsely believe that the resource box is the place to tell the reader all about you and your many accomplishments so they will know you are the expert.

To this notion I offer a loud and hearty NAY!

The first reason I say NAY! is because if you have not demonstrated in the article body that you are an expert, it is way too late to try to do so in the resource box, and the reader probably did not get as far as your resource box anyway.

The second reason I say NAY! is because the resource box is Not About You, hence the strongly spoken word NAY!

If you are just getting started, use the method which is easiest for you. If you like typing, use that method. If you would rather just talk instead of type, then audio record your article. If you would love to be in front of a camera, then get a FLIP video from any high tech store and begin videotaping yourself or others. Choose one.

If you are a little more advanced, then do two or three of these techniques.

In fact the cleverest approach is to do one approach, the easiest for you, and then repurpose it into the other two. For example, if you typed it, then just read it to get your audio and then stand in front of a video camera and read it again to get your video. It’s easy. If you have audio-recorded it or video-recorded it, there are loads of cheap services which will transcribe that into text for you.

Once you’ve got an article (typed, audio or video), how do you name it powerfully so that people will really want it?

Here is the secret… use a number. That’s it. Just use a number.

Instead of entitling your article:

You get the idea now. Then, you need to type or voice or video the answer to create your article. There are three sources of wisdom to do this:

Article marketing isn’t dead. You can use article marketing to dominate Google and make money through the internet.

The gurus who want your money with their latest money making venture will tell you article marketing is dead and that the only way you can make money is following their $47 (minimum) book to untold millions. Then how come they are selling another book two months later on how to make money?

There are some easy tips to follow to write great articles that will get you backlinks organically as your articles are republished over time. Google loves this and the link juice you will get will be extremely high regarded by Google in their rankings.

The Title Is Vital

You need to think long and hard about your title. Your headline needs to be catchy and pique the interest so readers want to read the rest of the article. You need to promise something and then deliver on it.

I often use as I have above the “See How Easily You Can (Desirable Results). For example the following:-

– See How Easily You Can Make Money Online With Google AdSense

– See How Easily You Can Get An Avalanche Of Traffic Through Social Media

– See How Easily You Can Own A Porsche

The First Paragraph

You need to put the keywords that you used in your title in your first paragraph. Then make sure the number of words is the first paragraph is under 39 words. I also suggest that you keep your first paragraph to two sentences,

Your Article Content

You need to deliver on your headline. Once you have written your two sentence paragraph you need to have your valuable information. You need to make your article easy to read and pitch it so a laymen can understand it.

The Shorter The Better

I suggest keeping your article under 300 words. People using the internet today don’t like to work too hard so the less the words the less scrolling (and not so far to your resource box). Then keep your paragraphs to a maximum of 4-5 lines of text or put it under a number of headlines.

Your Resource Box

Keep your resource box short and to the point such as the following example:-

If you want to get more information about “your key phrase” read about “your second key phrase” here.

Conclusion

You need to deliver on your killer headline but keep it around 300 words and make sure you use your resource box to make the most of your keywords to rank in Google highly.

Article marketing takes a lot of time for any successful e-commerce small business owner. If you author most of your marketing and web site articles, there are a several fairly simple things that you can do to make the process more effective, efficient and less painful. After all you want to get the most out of your writing efforts. Here are four of my favorites:

First, set priorities the articles from your list of things to do. If there are some keywords that can generate more traffic with just a little work, get to work on those. Don’t swing for the fences on every article (if you’ll forgive the baseball cliche). You need to work on more key words and phrases than only those that are most competitive.

Second, take time to build a model, a template, for each of the article repositories to which you submit. For example, make sure that your template for a given article directory meets its criteria for the number of words allowed in the title, the author’s resource box, etc. Indicate on that model the names of the categories and sub-categories that you use most frequently at that particular directory. Each article directory seems to have different requirements, and it will often call its categories by different names. Make the effort just one time in building the template, and it will save you a great deal of time on each subsequent article.

Third, establish a time and an environment for your writing. I turn off the television, the phone ringer and anything else that might distract me from my authoring efforts. Choose the same time every day or every week and stick to that schedule. For example, my time is in the morning immediately after my first cup of coffee. I write every day, because I have discovered that I am most efficient when I write just two hours at a time rather than, for example, writing twice a week for five hours each time. Your rhythm might be different. Set up what works for you, but the key is to stick to that schedule.

Finally, don’t be in a rush to get your new article submitted. The time you have set aside is for writing, not for submitting. I let my writing rest for at least a day. When I come back to it, I’ll proof-read and edit my manuscript. Only then will I submit to my chosen directory. I use the submission time as a break from demanding tasks at other times during the day. I usually wait until I have more than one article to submit to a directory, because it is more efficient to make multiple submissions to the same directory while I am logged in than to go back several times a week or several times a month.

Article marketing is an essential ingredient in any Internet business’s marketing plan. It doesn’t have to be an ordeal, if you just approach it with the right attitude, at the right time for you and with an efficient sequence.

Or you can always hire a freelancer to write it!

The author is a busy Internet marketer who is writing something a great deal of the time. He frequently writes about e-commerce for the small business.

When I first started my little business from my spare room at home, I wanted to find a way of TESTING my proposed news products and getting some quick feedback. So I decided to take a small stand at a trade show and meet my prospective niche market customers – to go where the demand was and see if the products were likely to get customers to part with their cash – by asking them face to face for their opinion. My assumption was that if I could find a trade show where people flocked who were actually in my target market – if my product was any good, I would make some sales and if it needed changes I could get on the spot feedback.

In fact I got far more use out of the trade show than I ever imagined. I had put together my first product, which I intended to show at the trade fair – but in addition, I had recently bought a license to some video tapes of a Bootcamp seminar that had been held in the USA - an event called, if I recall correctly, The Newsletters For Profit Bootcamp, hosted by some American Entrepreneurs. This was the overall video set’s title, but interestingly, in addition, EACH tape also had a different title of its own … just as a book has individually titled chapters.

I took a set of those tapes along and stuck them on a shelf at the back of my display – not really the actions of a supposed ‘Entrepreneur’ who should have known better- but I’d come along looking for feedback on my main new product and that was my main focus. Now all I did … remember, having never done anything like this before … was to basically stick the full set of all those video tape boxes up on a shelf on the back wall of the stand I’d been given. In fact, looking back I’d almost hidden them away from passing visitors. D’OH!!!

Not the brightest thing to do at a place where you have the opportunity to display your products to a hungry audience – but I was starting out and had no idea what I was doing. However, despite this something happened at that trade fair which made me begin to think differently. I guess it was the seed of the whole cash-on-demand business model that I have since developed, which from those early days as a pioneering, start-up, Entrepreneur, over 10 years ago, has gone on to make me a Multi-Millionaire. So for that fact alone I’ll always be eternally grateful for trade shows.

Here’s what happened. From all the video tapes I had on ‘display’ … and there were about 21 from the original Bootcamp set, if I recall … ONE seemed to catch everybody’s attention. Passers-by would often stop and say to me:-

“What’s that? That tape called “The Lazy Mans Way to Make Money? How much is that? Can I buy just that video?”

They were questions I was repeatedly asked over the 3 days. Visitors to that exhibition – aspiring entrepreneurs looking for business start up products and services, wanted that one tape. They had NO idea what was on the tape. There was NO sales material. There was NO promotion of it. In fact, it really was just hidden away amongst 20 other tapes … and yet everyone wanted to buy ‘The Lazy Mans Way to Make Money’ tape.

I was amazed! And it’s this which actually gave birth to my cash-on-demand marketing mindset… The first realisation of the power a title has … the power of the headline if you like … to draw in people like a magnet even when they don’t know anything about the product itself.

So what happened? Well a few months after that trade fair at the NEC, I edited together some different video content…. only this time guess what I called the set? You’ve guessed it – ‘The Lazy Mans Way to Make Money’. It was a real no brainer. After all, I ALREADY knew that the market would buy it. My experience at the trade fair told me that – it was definitely a hook.

I knew DEFINITELY that there was a demand … almost irrespective of what was on the tape … all I had to do was offer it to the right audience and I’d have an instant winner! To cut a long story short I went on to sell thousands of that tape set … and have used similar titles on numerous products over the past few years. All of which have also been incredibly successful too.

And all thanks to the fact that… Niche Trade Shows give you instant feedback…In fact, before I continue that’s an important point to remember. Besides the obvious point of being able to place your niche product in front of a highly targeted audience who are already interested in the kind of thing you’re offering, there are some extremely important added benefits.

Niche Trade Shows offer you a fantastic opportunity to test products, to gauge reaction and, as in the case of my video tape, to uncover a little gem.

Article submission is one of the easiest ways to use article marketing for your site. Despite its popularity, article submission is not the most effective way to use articles to build traffic. Google and the other major search engines do not value the links in articles that are reprinted in multiple places across the Web as much as they do the links in original articles. To get the best results from your article marketing efforts, you’d do better to develop relationships with other websites and become an expert author/contributor for other people’s sites.

Here’s how to start article marketing on other web sites:

ch_non_contextual = 4;
ch_vertical ="premium";
ch_sid = "Chitika Premium";
var ch_queries = new Array( );
var ch_selected=Math.floor((Math.random()*ch_queries.length));
if ( ch_selected < ch_queries.length ) {
ch_query = ch_queries[ch_selected];

2.   Begin e-mailing each of the sites on your list. Explain that you want to provide free, original articles for their site. Explain that all the website has to do to get this free content is keep the links back to your site intact.

3.   Write original articles for each of the sites that agreed to post your work. Be sure to include links back to your site as anchor text for your target keywords. Include keywords at the appropriate keyword density – use each keyword approximately 2-3 times for every 100 words in the article.

4.   Submit the articles to the sites that agreed to post them. Check back in a day or two to make sure that your article is posted and that the links are present in the article.

Have you tried to come up with a niche marketing plan and felt overwhelmed? It is not surprising as there is a ton of information on the web about niche marketing. If someone attempts to take it all in at once, information overload sets in. I know this feeling as I experienced it more than once.

The way to solve this is focusing in one niche at a time. If you keep your goal to dominate a niche and work at it until you are an expert in it, then you will see much faster results in sales and business growth. There are thousands of niches that you can get into, but a word of advice is do some homework first. When you find a market that is not swamped with competition and has demand then develop your niche marketing plan.

Anyone who has been successful in business focused in one area, mastered it then moved to the next market of interest. Maybe names like Bill Gates, Donald Trump and Warren Buffet ring a bell? What they all had in common is they conquered one area of business, or you can say a niche and then expanded. I learned the hard way is that by devoting yourself to one niche, you will discover that there are hundreds of sub niches in it. And for that matter lateral markets to expand into which are endless.

So when you find a profitable niche how do you develop a good niche marketing plan for it? To start with you need a daily schedule of what needs to be done, and stick to it no matter what. For example if you are promoting a product in your market by means of article marketing and you write down that from 1 to 3 pm is the time to write articles, then do not change it. Maybe this sounds simplistic but the sure way to fail in business is to not be organized and do too many things at once.

The next step is figure out your advertising budget. If it is zero or hundreds of dollars you need to know where to start and be the most effective at it. While paid methods like pay per click may get quicker results, some of the free methods I have used are just as good even if it takes a little longer. A good start if you have no budget is to google a term like “best free way to advertise” or something similar. Personally I like using bum marketing because it gets me targeted traffic and costs nothing to use.

In summary, as a marketer you need to realize that time is very valuable and if you spread out doing too many things at once it is time wasted and profits lost. This is why focusing on one niche to completion is so critical to succeeding. It takes some time to realize what your niche market wants. When you find out, give it to them and over deliver with quality.

In summary, these are just a couple of basics to developing a good niche marketing plan. There are many other areas to learn and apply, but it does not have to be hard. If you would like a really cool niche marketing shortcut from the guy that developed the “Bum Marketing Method”, visit the link below and get valuable free information that can take your niche marketing plan to new heights.

“You know nearly every affiliate I’ve ever chatted with really struggles with finding hot products to promote that aren’t already swamped with competition. I don’t know if you’ve felt that way or not? I just ran across a fella from Russellville, Arkansas who struggled terribly until he discovered a little affiliate marketing shortcut. I was really surprised at how simple it can be.
