Web 2.0 Site Being Built - Watch and Learn

Posted on December 31, 2006

It’s Saturday evening as I write this to you - just 12 hours+- before folks around the world herald in the New Year with goals and hopes for 2007…

And even though I’m loathe to write much over the holiday season, I did want to talk to you a bit more about Web 2.0 and how you can benefit from the changes that are upon us.

TRAFFIC! The lifeblood of any online business.

Web 2.0 has already started changing the face of website traffic - where your visitors come from, and whether they’ll be spending, subscribing, or leaving your site in boredom.

Last week I disclosed to you one of my earlier Web 2.0 traffic techniques (if you missed it, see Web 2.0 traffic technique).

Then I sent you in the direction of a group of respected marketers who are teaching us to use 2.0 sites to send oodles of visitors to your existing site(s).

The audio and transcript is still free if you want to check it out again - see Web 2.0 traffic interview.

BUT…

What’s missing here is an in-depth and thorough explanation of Web 2.0 - with an explanation of why it’s taking over the internet.

I CANNOT stress this enough.

I was singing about Blogs and RSS feeds in the summer of 2004 with ‘The Stampede Secret’ (now removed from the market) and clients who paid
attention reaped the rewards.

This year I’ll be singing and sharing about 2.0 traffic and sites (not limited to, nor does it even require, tagging and pinging), as well as creating a few of my own 2.0 sites.

AND I do hope you’ll join me in this revolution because the ‘other side’ is loaded with rewards.

If you want a leg up on understanding 2.0 and/or how you can create your own sites that will appeal to the new, more demanding, web surfer,
let me tell you about a great read I’ve just finished!

The main manual is 150 pages, but it’s written so well you’ll soar through it. Plus two bonus reports, and finally secret blog access to watch ‘over the shoulder’ from conception to launch of a real 2.0 site! And the price is laughably low.

Definately my top choice of 2006.

Prepare yourself for 2007 and check this out now (I don’t know how many clients will be allowed access before he pulls down the last bonus).

Build a Web 2.0 site

Enjoy the last days of this holiday season, and I’ll see you again in 2007 (hip hip hooray!).

I’m excited about the changes to come and I hope you are as well,

p.s. Yes, throughout next year I will be sharing more of my 2.0 traffic secrets, but little will prepare you better than to watch a 2.0 site being born beginning with the idea. Don’t wait until it’s too late to learn about this…Learn to build a Web 2.0 site.

(edited February 12, 2007 — The other offer, on Web 2.0 traffic, is ending soon. The free interview will coming down and the price of the package doubling. This is not my product so I have no control over pricing or free content availability but I am telling you, get it now before it’s gone for good or so expensive that you’ll kick yourself for waiting: Web 2.0 traffic interviews.

WHY WAS I CHARGED $10 FOR THE FREE INTERVIEW???

YOU OFFERED IT FOR FREE, THEN I WAS OFFERED THE SAME CONFESSION OR INTERVIEW FOR $10. sO WHERE’S THE FREE STUFF???

    Susan:

First of all, it’s not my product or interview that you paid for - it’s web2secrets.com

Secondly, the $10 you paid was an upsell. You did not HAVE to pay the $10 to get the report I was talking about in the email notice I sent to you.

The traffic technique using 43things.com was discussed in the free interview (and NOT the paid interview - totally different content).

If you login to your account at web2secrets.com you’ll see that you have TWO sets of files to download or listen to (since you bought into the upsell).

Read the three sentences there carefully and you’ll see a link to the FREE interview AND ANOTHER for the $10 interview.

I was promoting the free interview, so I’m not certain why you felt you needed to spend $10 or why you decided to write to me all in caps (which is the equivalent of yelling at a person), but I will say this…the $10 interview is money well spent for the ideas and techniques shared.

Putting these techniques into action should bring you far more $ back within a day, not to mention the long reaching effects over the coming years.

    Have a joyous new year…

LMAO, there is always one person who will not read a webpage and end up buying stuff they didnt need to.. People like that help marketers earn a living…

I actually bought the $10 interview simply because $10 is nothing and if it contains one good idea then it was worth it

Thanks for your vote of confidence, Dave!

It is hilarious but also sad. I don’t get how people can flip $10 out of their wallet, without having the presence of mind to know what they’re buying!

It’s that old addage “A Fool and His Money…”

This is no different than giving a waitress (that’s me, serving up recommendations) a monetary tip and then yelling at her for letting them buy the food.

I know I’ve got some true newbies on my list I just wish they weren’t so dang abusive. On the other hand there are hundreds of others on that list who are truly fine and email notes of kindness and gratitude often, making it all worthwhile.

    :)

    Laura
