Who Taught Today’s Online Millionaires?

You may have heard this week that marketer Mike Filsaime broke a sales record with a $97 version of his previously released home study course called Butterfly Marketing. This newest offering was a slightly rewritten version of just the manuscript and a few bonus audios but without the Butterfly software and video content.

The launch set records. His payment processor Clickbank, nearly choked. Over $300,000 in sales in just 24 hours.

As I read my copy of the manuscript I tried to keep a new-comer’s perspective. “What would this knowledge mean to me if I was just starting out with an online business?” and “Does this apply to every type of online business?”

The report and my thoughts around it, kept me up all night. Reading and brainstorming…and thinking of a variety of business markets and strategies.

But there was one recurring theme to my thoughts in those late night hours - “Where did Mike Filsaime learn all these marketing strategies that made his online business such a monstrous success?”

But the strategies don’t suit all markets, business mandates, or personal styles.

    I can’t believe it!

    Hello again Doug!

    We just talked on the phone but I’m replying here as well so everyone else knows that the bonus offered today was an unadvertised bonus - it couldn’t be mentioned on the site (and wasn’t an upsell, it was a true free bonus).

    Although I now know what it is (and am excited about it) I still haven’t watched it. I’m excited about it because I’ve heard the material spurred a lot of lightbulb moments for many marketers over the past few years.

    At any rate, I see you ordered your Mark Joyner package. I’m thrilled for both of us! I know there are a few sites I own that are duds and I’m going to be taking Mark’s high end advice and turning them into something more profitable - then selling them so I can focus on my main event.
