The easy part when it comes to blogging is finding information about the product or service that you are advertising or suggesting to your readers. You may have the greatest website on the planet and you are selling an item that makes the light bulb look like the stone wheel. The problem begins to arise when you begin writing your blog posts about these items. You can find information on the internet about what it is you are selling but you cannot take it word for word and place it in your blog. That is called plagiarism and it can land you in serious hot water.

The problem facing today’s article writers and bloggers is content. Many people do not even take the time to rewrite product descriptions or change articles to where the content is unique. They then submit these blurbs or blog posts to article directories so they can get back links to their web site. The huge problem is that most of the popular directories have a plagiarism checker and very, very strict rules about having 100% unique content. If your article is a mish-mash of stolen wording many of these directories will reject you due to duplicate content or plagiarism. That looks incredibly bad on you. It is even worse if the original authors find out.

The key is writing, or having someone else write, 100% unique content. You need to write your blog or blurb to where it is free from plagiarism. That means not lifting content from different places and just changing one word. You need to look at the material, summarize it in your mind and then write something new from the information you have gleamed. Yes, the other page helped inspire you and gave you information but the blog you write is all your own. You can then you a customized service that puts your blogs out there and gives you back links to your own web site. You usually have to write a 100 word blurb to go with it but that is child’s play for you once you have writing the actual blogs down to a science.

It just cannot be stressed enough that unique content is the true seller on the Internet. You want your website and blog to stand out from the crowd. You do not want to be repeating the same information that you find on article directories. If you can convey the information in a new way you will engage readers and get their attention. And that is how you make money in this day and age. You having 100% unique content is the actual backbone of your entire infrastructure. The only problem is, creating unique content is time consuming and hard work. Not to mention, promoting your blog, getting backlinks and traffic also required a lot of heavy lifting.

Heavy lifting in online marketing language equates to a lot of time and work, right? Well, not necessarily. There is one industry answer that will meet most bloggers needs to save time, increase website visitors and create ‘smart’ blogging automation (auto blogging that won’t get you banned). Find out The answer…

Sometimes the easiest way to blog is not always the best place to find a home for your blog. Take for example blogging on a social network site such as Facebook. While it is a great place to place a link to a blog on another site, it is not great for blogging itself. And this is something you absolutely must take into account. There is a way to blog and a way not to blog. There is a time to blog and a time not to blog. There is a place to blog and places where blogging is not going to be as beneficial to you as another place may be. So how do you know how, when and where?

So why is Facebook not a great place to blog? For starters the website is not set up for blogging. You can write and add “notes” but you have to tag each of your friends and followers if they are going to be notified of your new post. And then it shows up on their wall – which may not go over so well if being inundated with “notes” is not their preference. You could wind up losing followers, friends and family. When that means you are not going to be making any money. And you will not make money from your blog alone on Facebook. You will have to put links to your website or to another blogging web site if you want to utilize ads and banner ads for affiliate programs.

Establishing the fact that social networking sites such as Facebook are out, leaves you with places such as WordPress or even Blogspot.com. There are some ups and downs for each site but they do, at least, allow the use of ads and promoting affiliate programs. You just have to get traffic to the site. That leaves you with the proper time to blog once you figure out where. Try not to post late night blogs because many people will miss out on new blogs if you are consistently posting at odd hours. Try posting at the same time each day or every couple of days. You may not want to even blog every single day for fear of inundating your followers with too much information or repeated information. Have a set number of blogs for the week and stick with that schedule.

All that being said, there is a specific formula (or blueprint) for when to blog, how frequently, and how to get links to your original page and traffic to your individual blog posts. However, all this usually takes a lot of work. Not many people want to devote that kind of time to maintaining their blog on a daily basis. But don’t lose heart! There is a solution. Just take a quick visit to Smart Blogging Automation and you will see what I have been up to for the last three years – earning my living from home, blogging for income. It may also be the perfect solution for your needs. You can cut down on your proposed work load, boost your blog rankings (and traffic), which eventually equates to a higher return. Best of all, the entire tools and system is heavily based on ‘smart’ automation.

What is ‘smart’ automation you ask?

Get all the details right here: Smart Blogging Automation.

Blogging is a concept that started in late 90s. It used to be a way to comment an existing web page, an opportunity for visitors and readers to react or voice out one?s opinion on the said page. What started as a single-sentence commentary has evolved into pages of personal take on just about anything and everything under the sun. As it continues to move forward, online advertising has tapped into the blog’s potential. Here are 5 reasons why you should use blogging as an Internet marketing tool.

1.Blogging is simple. The simplest way to get your piece on the net is through blogging. No skills are necessary – an average adult can read and type, or at least click a mouse. It?s like having a virtual piece of paper and you just write your ideas, experiences, new products, and hope that the truth behind your articles comes out and entice your reader to also try your product. If you have a PC and an Internet connection (who doesn?t?) then you can blog and advertise.

2. Blogging is authentic. In this day and age where advertising saturate our lives, we question the credibility of promoters? claims. However, in blogs, real people share their real-life experiences, unscathed by paid advertising. Reading blogs about first-hand product use is like talking to people about their first-hand experience. You definitely want to buy a tried and tested product.

3. Blogging is free. Because blogging is yet to be proven as a mainstream online advertising media, most sites see it as something to augment current marketing tools and thus offer it for free. Any opportunity for free web time is definitely a bonus especially to businesses that are starting up. Needless to say, paid blog pages can generate more income for your seriously growing business.

4. Blogging builds credibility. As you get more and more into writing your experiences on a particular product or industry, your readers come to realize that they can depend on your posts for their own information needs. As such, you become an expert on it; as a consequence, more readers visit your site and more bloggers link to your blogs. As companies and professional organizations notice the growth of your readership base, they may soon get in touch with you for advertising on your blog page, or make you an affiliate, which pays for every referral generated from your blog site.

5. Blogging builds your market. Unless you are a Hollywood star, chances are, only your Mom reads your posts. Mom has a lot of friends, so she lets her friends know how interesting your blog site is. But you need not depend on Mom to increase your readership base. Look into the following ways to build your market through blogging:

-By using your e-mail. Today, blogging is overcoming the e-mail?s popularity in quickly and effectively reaching and expanding a market. In this age of speed and quick access, logging in and downloading e-mail is simply taking longer than clicking into a blog site. Let them explore your site by using a short e-mail message as teaser to your blog site. If your e-mail is on an entirely different subject, use your e-mail signature to give a link to the site.

-By using subscription. An easy way to get your readers e-mail is to give them an opportunity to subscribe to your blogsite. Keep some exclusive information for your subscribers to entice readers to subscribe and give their e-mail address. Just be responsible in using their e-mail address, as the last thing you want is a comment on your blog that you are a spammer.

-By understanding your readers. Conduct a simple survey for your readers to understand their profile and advertising preferences. Ask consumers to give you feedback on a post, an ad link, or a trial that you shared. In this way, it is like interviewing your readers without the commitment and intrusion of a face-to-face interview.

-By joining a blog network ?A network of blogs maybe a collection of blog sites that share the same industry, interest, readership base, payment mode, etc. Consumers find credibility and convenience in clicking one link to several real bloggers about a single subject. Clearly, more bloggers are better than one.

-By using RSS. RSS is the fastest growing technology on the Internet today. As such, having RSS feeds to your blog is definitely another means of generating awareness for your readership base. Having a variety of feeds can add interest to your blog site.

Give your business a boost by effectively using blogging as an Internet marketing tool.

Every day, blogs are created by people of all ages and from all walks of life, but when it comes to blogging, teen writers are truly on the cutting edge of the movement. Because today’s teenagers are the first generation of people to have grown up using the internet at every stage of their development, many adolescents have a seemingly innate sense of how to use web technology to express their innermost thoughts and ideas.

Older writers often experience a kind of learning curve when they begin to blog, but many young people find that using a word processor and blogging software feels more natural and direct a mode of communication than writing in a diary ever could.

One of the reasons why blogs have undergone a kind of explosion in the teen community and are growing by leaps and bounds is the fact that they provide a unique mixture of visibility and anonymity. A teenager can
invite friends and peers to read his or her blog with a simple email, thereby winning attention or possibly even praise.

Of course, with visibility usually comes the possibility of embarrassment, but the fact that it is possible to blog anonymously with an invented handle or nickname negates a lot of the potential for humiliation. Many a blogging teen lives in fear that a parent or guardian will discover his or her blog, but by publishing under an alias a teenager can spill his or her secrets without fear of being traced.

Outside the world of blogging, teen writers often have very limited opportunities to be published. Magazines and journals are often reticent to publish young writers who may not have as much credibility as older writers with a lot of experience and extensive credits to their names.

This can discourage adolescents from writing or from seeking chances to publish their work. By blogging, young people can begin to gain a following of readers without first having to win the attention and support of an editor or publisher who may not be very interested in teenaged authors.

Between the fact that blogs provide young people with a chance to exercise their impressive technical aptitude, to gain visibility without compromising privacy, and to build a readership for their writing without having to jump through the traditional hoops of the publishing industry, it is little wonder that are so many teenagers with blogs. For some teenagers, blogging is even a very social endeavor that allows them to meet people with similar interests from all over the world.

Many a blogging teen has discovered that having a weblog on the internet is a great way to explore self-expression and, often, to win positive feedback from new friends.

Business blog is an incredible online marketing tool that saves you thousands of dollars but provides great business opportunities in just one click. Blogs are user-friendly, customized and flexible medium for disseminating useful information for effective positioning of your products in the market.

Companies engaging in business blogging have a definite edge over its competitors. Here are some advantages:

Word-of-Mouth. In a survey, there are currently 14 million blogs with 80,000 more being added each day and about 30 percent of the 50 million users are blog readers. Imagine how much gain your company will have, if your products are advertised through blogs. With Internet, information spreads so quickly especially if an impressive write-up goes with your product. Soon your blogs will be passed on to hundreds of possible customers.

Awareness and loyalty. Open communication with your customers creates trust and loyalty among them. Being there to respond to their questions and comments make them all the more willing to try your products and services.

Feedback. Blogs is good for product research and reviews. It would be easier to improve on your products if you observe your customers? thinking and behavioral patterns. You can also take immediate action to your customers? concerns.

Community halo-effect. Bloggers are reasonable, friendly and helpful. They are more than willing to create blogosphere of comments regarding your product. The only thing you have to do is embrace and take active part in the culture and your product will surely be considered in their next stop to the supermarket.

For better marketing results, actively promote your business blogs by submitting your blogs to blog search sites and directories. Do not forget to paste in with your blogs, your URL. Be sure that your blogs contain exclusive information with value and are always updated to keep readers popping in, read up your blog, move on to the next and click on again for updates.

Blog is like a setup booth in the biggest trade show on earth everyday. Marketing possibilities are just around the corner waiting to strike your sale scales up.

The Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds are important too in conjunction with your blogs to get the best benefits. Use effective keyword phrases to generate high ranking status in the search engine traffic. In this way you have better chances of people finding your website leading to your blogs. More traffic means more potential sales.

For this to be successful, you can use RSS for news update feeds which can be read through RSS reader application. This is a very useful tool for business and internet marketers as well.

If you are already convinced with the potentials of business blogs for marketing and targeting sales increase, your company is now ready to start blogging. But first, you have to be in tune with your company?s business objectives and determine if blogging will really help you achieve your goal.

1. Several blogs are dedicated to teaching people the do?s and don?ts of blogging, READ them! Include in your reading materials blogs that are consumer-based too to give you an idea.

2. Setup several test blogs right away. If your initial try out with blogs worked well, you can now start setting up your blogs.

3. Study blog design. Blog hosting services provide pre-designed templates. But if you opt for paid blog service, you can ask your artist to design and layout your blog site to match the company?s identity and needs.

4. Choose a topic. Its good to have a line-up of topics you want for your blogs but be sure they are in consonance with your business objectives. This would be a test of your flexibility and open-mindedness since results may be going against the set objectives.

5. Remember the following safety measures in blogging: legal issues are sometimes involved in blogging; it is safer to include disclaimers and limitations of liabilities; corporate communication and legal department are responsible in educating the senior management on how blogs might affect business; create blogging policies; set limits on who gets to blog and what information are allowed to be made public; avoid outright marketing blog or you will shy away your readers; make content updated, relevant and fresh; reinforce the company?s core values; and, encourage employees to use it.

6. Start blogging and complete 20 posts before going to marketing.

7. Begin marketing.

8. Regularly monitor the coming ins and outs of readers and get updates. Then, measure your results.
9. Adjust if needed. You can always play with your designs in the blog site as long as it remains to match the company?s identity.
10. Strive to be consistent with your topic all the time.
11. Try to have unrelated topics with general and broad appeal.
12. Schedule updates regularly. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday would be best to update blogs.

Once you have done all these things, you can now ultimately enjoy the benefits of business blogging.

Blogging news stories as they unfold is one of the most exciting and controversial applications of technology that bloggers have discovered. One thing that makes the blogosphere so active is the fact that it is possible to update a blog instantaneously, so the news on blogs tends to be more current than the news in the paper, or on television. Unlike news delivered by these other media, news that appears on blogs does not have to travel through a series of editors and administrators before it reaches the public eye.

This has some advantages, and some distinct disadvantages.

One of the most notable cases of news hitting a blog before appearing in other media took place in July 2005 when terrorism struck London. As passengers were evacuated from a subway car near an explosion, one man took several photographs of the scene with his cellular phone, and within an hour these images were posted online. First-person accounts of the catastrophe began appearing on blogs soon after these photos appeared, and people all over the world learned about the events in London by reading the words and seeing the photos posted by bloggers.

The fact that these stories and images were being spread directly by individuals operating without the added filter of a reporter helped to make the crisis feel very immediate to people across the globe. When it comes to blogging, news often appears in a very personal context.

This has the potential to be the beginning of an exciting new era of reporting, one that takes “New Journalism” to it’s logical next step by putting the power to shape how the news is written and read directly into the hands of the public.

Many bloggers and cultural commentators who are champions of the weblog movement feel that this growing trend of individuals who getting their news from blogs is a good thing, because it makes the flow of information more democratic. By decentralizing the control of news, blogs allow more voices to enter the field of debate about important current events.

However, many people are adamantly opposed to the use of blogs as news outlets, and there are plenty of good arguments on this side of the debate. Unlike newspapers or television stations, few blogs have fact-checkers, and there is little attention paid to journalistic accountability on many blogs. This can lead to the rapid spread of misinformation, and more than one falsehood has taken the blogosphere by storm. The questions about whether blogging news as it happens is ethical or not are very complicated, but no matter where you stand on the topic of current events blogs you are almost sure to agree that this movement has the potential to revolutionize how modern people get their news.

Nowadays in education, blogs also play an important part. Professors use blogging to document the lessons that they have discussed and taught. This way, students who who have missed classes, can easily catch up with their assignments.

A lot of entrepreneurs benefit from blogging by promoting their businesses on their blogs, with millions and millions of people logging onto the net everyday, blogging has become a lucrative move. Some bloggers who run online businesses promote their merchandise online. While others profit through advertisement.

But by far, the most popular blog type is the one that takes the form of a personal journal. This is the kind that is usually used by first time bloggers. Individuals who want to document the daily struggle of their everyday lives, poems, rants, opinions, find that blogging offers them a medium in which to express themselves.

Bloggers usually communicate within themselves. This is one of the appeals of blogging. It creates a community of people sharing their ideas, thoughts, and comments with each other.

Blogs varying in topics, themes, and set-ups, can be found in blog directories. First time users who want to get an idea of what the blogging world is all about can browse through a number of blogs using these directories. This way they’d get an idea of what these blogging communities are like.

Today anyone who has writing ability or is dreaming to be a writer has written a blog in the net. There are blog soft wares that are simple and easy to use and a technically inclined and challenged individuals can easily acquire a blog online.

For some individuals, blogs are their projects of every day living, as they talk about their daily episodes as well as make tribute to friends and family. Furthermore, blogs assume a profound meaning written to compose and assemble political statements, endorse a product, supply information on research, and even offer tutorials. Any subject that are of your interests, you can be sure that someone has written a blog about it.

Blogs are now being written by musicians, politicians, sports figures, novelists, newscasters as well as other known figures. It is this blog fever that has raised controversy. The fact that anyone can compose and regarding any subject matter under the sun, complaints about certain write-ups are an issue. In a lot of blogs, names are being mentioned; do bear in mind that although you are entitled to write anything that interests you in a blog, you have to be very careful and take in a lot of responsibility. Do not make any statements which can become controversial; or else, be very prepared.

Why a Blog?

1. For personal acquaintances, relationships and hobby. A person can write a blog about his daily activities, what?s going on with his life as his way of telling his family and friends the things that goes on in his life. Likewise, one may also write a blog just so he can express what he feels about himself, or about a certain subject matter that is of interest to him.

2. Topical. Some blogs are committed to a precise topic, like computer hardware or politics. These are frequently read like magazines.

3. For marketing. Corporations are too, into blogging; when well written and implemented, this kind of blog can be a powerful instrument for business communications, forming eagerness and anticipation regarding their products and services offered, or used as tool within the company, keeping employees well informed about company issues and news.

Hosted Services

If one wishes to start broadcasting on the Web, yet does not have web hosting, one can consider looking into a hosted service, which includes Blogger, TypePad, Live Journal, and more.

These services are operated or handled for an individual, so there is no need to concern one about technical upkeep of one?s Weblog; instead, one can concentrate on his blog’s appearance and content. In just minutes, after signing for an account, one can readily start his own blog. Many such services are offered free, such as blogger. TypePad charges a minimal amount for monthly service fee.

Self-Hosted

When one has Web hosting on hand, or is eager to buy hosting, in which one feesl that the advantage will prevail over the problems of keeping up your own blog connection and installation, then you may want to take into account a package that is self-hosted, which includes Movable Type, Textpattern and WordPress.

Other hosting companies did construct the process of installation easier, permitting installation with just a click from a control panel that is browser-based. It is important that you check with a hosting company so you can view if this function is offered. Similar to hosted services, some self hosted packages are made available either for free or for a certain fee which is dependent on the type of package that you choose as well as the basis why you are using it.

If writing is an art, then, blogging is one way of using words to come up with an art. This is because people who are into blogging are the ones who are artistic on their own sense, carefully choosing words that would best describe their feelings, sentiments, wishes, desires, and everything.

Basically, blogs were first introduced as weblogs that refer to a ?server?s log file.? It was created when web logging hit the virtual market. Since its inception in the mid-1990s, web logging gradually saturated the virtual community making the Internet a viable source of greater information.

However, with web logging, you still need a web site and domain names, but with blogging, you do not need anything just an account with blog providers. In most cases, these kinds of blogs are free of charge.

With the onset of blogging in the industry, personal journaling had been a common ground for people who wish to be known all over the world. However, not literally famous as this is not a case on being popular or well-known personality.

Generally, blogs are created for personal use. Like a journal, people can write their daily adventures, sentiments, and whatever ideas they want to express online.

Nevertheless, with the advent of the online businesses, blogs had gradually taken the limelight in providing businesses a chance to boost their productivity online. This is where the business blogs have taken the limelight.

Business blogs are, basically, created to advertise the services or products of a certain web site or online business in order to increase online sales.

Moreover, business blogs are also one way of promoting the company so that the other readers will know that a certain company exists online. With blogs, entrepreneurs are able to establish a name in the virtual market through articles that can be very useful in the reader?s life.

From there, you can make money out of blogs by simply syndicating it to your business? web site. This can be done through the RSS technology.

So, if you are thinking to create a blog, whether for business or for pleasure, you need to know some tips that could help you get through and make your blog one of the interesting blogs online.

Here’s how:

1. Consider your audience

Even if your blog is generally personal, still, it would be better to consider the minds of your readers. You have to think of something that would interest them.

After all, most of the reasons of people who write blogs are not at all confined to their own personal motives. Most of them would love to be ?heard? (or read) and would love to be known, in some way or another, even for just a minute. Hence, it is very important to come with a write up that everybody can understand, not necessarily that these people can relate to it but they can understand it.

2. Pictures speaks a thousand words

To make your blogging worth the browsing effort of your readers, it would be extremely nice if you will put some pictures in it. It does not necessarily mean you have to place a picture of yourself. Any photographs will do as long as it does not pose danger or insult to anyone who will be reading your blog.

3. Make constructive and beneficial blogs

Even if you are free to write anything you wan to say to the world, still, it would be better to create some write-ups that would be beneficial to your readers.

After all, its information technology that you have there so better be inclined to provide information rather than sheer quirky entertainment.

4. Avoid making multifaceted and complicated blogs

In order to have an interesting blogs, try not to use some highly technical and highfalutin words. After all, it is not a science discourse or a debate that you are making, so better stick to simple facts and short blogs.

Bear in mind that most people who use the Internet usually do more scanning than scrutinizing each site word for word. Therefore, it would be better to come with blogs that will not bore your readers just because you have these lengthy articles.

5. Make it interactive

As much as possible and if your capacity will allow it, make your blog interactive. Yu can do this by placing some video or audio clips in your blog.

You can even place an area for comments or for some feedbacks. In this way, you can get some impressions or reactions of other people. Who knows, you might even gain some friends just by making them feel at home in your blog site.

Indeed, blogs are not created just for the mere fun of it. It also has its own purpose in the world of the Internet.
Therefore, for people who wish to harness their craft, as far as writing is concerned, blogs are the best way to do it.

As they say, blogging is the contemporary term of creative and commercial writing.

Many people dream of blogging for profit, and this goal is not far beyond the reach of someone with average intelligence, a willingness to work hard, and a basic grasp of blogging technology. However, very few people manage to reap the profits they want from their blog.

Most people who attempt to make money with their blogs do not succeed for two reasons. Often, bloggers have unrealistic expectations of how fast their readership will grow and how much money they will make, and when these expectations are not met the disappointment can crush the desire to continue blogging. The other trap that many bloggers fall into has to do with lack of planning. If you want to turn a profit as a blogger, the key to success is to make a realistic plan and stick with it.

To succeed at blogging for profit, the main thing that you will need is a large readership. The higher your traffic, the more advertisers will agree to pay you.

However, cultivating the regular visitors that you will need in order to make a profit isnt easy. As more and more blogs appear each day, having a great idea or a wonderful writing style is no longer enough to get attention. You need to be able to market your blog effectively.

Too many bloggers spend all of their time writing posts and almost no time marketing their project. To be certain, updating as often as you can is a great way to keep your blog high on blogrolls and high in blog search engines like technorati, and once your readers know that you update frequently they will return to your site on a regular basis.

However, it does not matter how often you update if nobody is reading your page, so don’t skimp on the time that you spend drawing visitors to
your site. To make your dreams of blogging for profit a reality, try decreasing your number of posts and using some of that time to draw new visitors by setting up link exchanges with other bloggers, making contacts in the blog community, and following other established modes of winning traffic.

Of course, even if you are a marketing genius or have a really great idea for a blog, success is not going to happen overnight. Building the kind of readership that blogging for profit requires takes time, and in all likelihood it will be at least several months before you are able to turn much of a profit. Try to stay committed to your blogging project during this initial rough period.

To stay motivated, set goals for how often you will update and how many readers you want to attract, and then reward yourself for sticking with your plan.

You can add features to your blog that make viewing your site more interesting to viewers plus make you money at the same time. Introducing the Web 2.0 Widgets.

Most of these easy-to-install widgets (small files of code) are available right now and free of charge at WidgetBox.

For instance, the Revver Video widget allows you to add other people’s videos to your website that when viewed earn you 20% of the revver take. (Reverse this if you have your own videos to share and you can increase your earnings up to 60%.)

Here’s another cool widget – this one for consultants. It’s called WDeal and it places a small button on your site. If your site readers use it to call you for advice or consultation, and they’re paying for your time at the rate you set. Very innovative.

I just found this and love it!

It’s a little piece of javascript code you can put in your blog posts, on your sidebar, within your html pages, anywhere that you have put Google’s Adsense in the past and found they didn’t make you any money!

What’s really cool is that the code (created by the server – all you do is cut and paste) comes in all the same shapes and sizes as Adsense ads – so you won’t need to change the format or layout of any existing pages, just cut and paste and presto!

You’ll have products in your sidebar served up by the most trusted shopping networks online – eBay.

Just like this one I made for my daugher’s girly site…

(sorry everyone when I updated my WordPress version I took out the samples. You’ll have to click through the link to see samples)

…in 250×250 format.

Or the one in my sidebar showing laptop computers (look to the right) in 120×600. (removed due to new design)

So, if you’ve been thinking you wanted to run eBay ads and earn some easy commissions, but you didn’t want to buy the script that creates entire websites around the eBay affiliate program, this is for you!

Sign up free and get your code.

Right now they’re paying 100% of the eBay affiliate commission to the publisher (that’s you) and the money arrives in your PayPal account. This may change (I haven’t heard) after the initial launch, at any rate the payouts are bound to be higher than most people are making on their crappy ol’ Adsense clicks.

The alternative is to sign up with eBay’s affiliate program through Commission Junction, then muddle through the eBay editor kit, then paste that code into your web pages, then wait a month for Commission Junction to pay you (often longer if you’re set to be paid by check via the postal service).

One other good reason to use the snippets set up by AuctionAds – they have the potential to earn you more than you’d make via CJ as their network grows (this has to do with eBay’s sliding scale and performance incentives to publishers).

This takes 5 minutes to create an account, get the code and paste it into your web property. Why not try it and test the results today?

Let me know how you do with this…I’m interested to hear your results!

————-

On a side note (because I’ve just been bombarded by email questions on this just 1/2 hour after this post!) the way I replaced my City Hall-city girl’s income as an eBay affilliate is by using the script I talk about here (you’ll also find links to the sites/stores I’m running with that script). That eBay script was one of my top 2 picks for 2006 and it’s still holding strong in 2007!

BUT if you’re not ready to take that big leap of faith and follow me, try the free eBay affiliate service above. It takes 5 minutes where the store-site script takes longer (to payout, to establish, to modify the template, etc.)

Web 2.0 made easy. Read my latest Web 2.0 traffic technique - it's geek free and works like gangbusters to drive highly targeted traffic to your online business!
Subscribers Get An Early Start on Website Traffic Strategy is a post from: Make Money Online by Marketing Your Business

Earlier I emailed my loyal subscribers with one of my favorite ways to get a free traffic flow of predisposed or prequalified visitors to their websites.

I thought you might like to know as well, since you’re here and loyal in your own right. (Gosh I hope you’re loyal and visit often to see what’s new!)

My Christmas gift to you is one of my biggest secrets – instant traffic to new sites without pay-per-click fees.

Believe me I know this sounds impossible, but case studies prove it…

It’s not some automated software tool, and there’s no cost. It’s Web 2.0 made easy.

You’ll actually need to put some effort into it, but the return on time is well worth it and I’ve got my own set of results to know this works in spades!

It doesn’t stop as a simple traffic generating strategy either. This is also a page rank sharing strategy that I’ve kept under my hat and only shared with close friends long enough.

The strategy has survived one major google update and has brought me plenty of traffic in a number of niches…

If you’re real savvy you’ll quickly figure out how to work this for the best results but if you need a little extra help I know of only one group of marketers who are even discussing, much less disclosing, their own secrets on these Web 2.0 techniques (and they’ve let the cat out of the bag in a free report – I’ll show you where in a minute….)

This is a completely non-geek strategy.

You write a few paragraphs about what you want to do or have already accomplished in life, and share it in a thriving community. People with similar desires, interests or goals end up reading your entries and following your links.

If you’re clever (and I know you are), you’ll post your paragraphs on high traffic pages (preferably with page rank) and you’ll link to your own web pages within those paragraphs.

Let me give you an example of the strategy and where I’m employing it…

This PR4 page: http://www.43things.com/things/view/92172 is all about people who want to make money blogging.

Two months ago I wrote an entry on that page that provides a worthy and helpful link to inexpensive hosting…

People follow, I make an affiliate commission.

Search engine robots follow, I get some ranking points.

I’ve just outlined the simplest of strategies you can employ with 43things.com

There are more, many more…

CONSIDER higher traffic and ranked pages – over 11,000 real people on 43things want to write a book. It’s on a PR6 page.

CONSIDER people who need help – 2,485 insomniacs are looking for ways to get more sleep on a PR5 page.

CONSIDER markets related to your own sites – 11,176 people want to fall in love on a PR6 page. Can you help these people with a product or link to a service? You’ll find them (plus all the others who visit this page but who don’t write or register, at 43things.com/things/view/33

If you see the value of this through my simple secret then you’re all set to start making sales, commissions or getting great backlinks right away.

If you don’t see how this benefits your business then it’s time to go back to web school to refresh your knowledge on target markets, keyword research, and more importantly how the internet is changing.

Talk of Web 2.0 isn’t some scare tactic I’m hitting you with – I’ve been working online for 9 years now this January. If you want your business to survive and thrive you need to take this seriously, and get the knowledge you need.

I’m prepared to publicly predict that we’ll see a lot of the old-timers, who think they’ve got www business all tied up, go down with the coming changes. This will open the doors wide for those who are ready to “ebb and flow with Web 2.0″

May you be one of them!

Truly dedicated to your success,

Laura Childs

P.S. I forgot to tell you who else is talking about the strategy I’ve started you with today. None other than search engine experts Dr. Mike Woo-Ming, Jeff Johnson, and Howie Schwartz.

Not sure if you remember but a few months ago I created a series of short videos…

I created these so you could see how easy it was to build an online store using a simple script, 20 minutes, and a WordPress blog.

The site was built right in front of your eyes in 20 minutes of video (I’ll give you the link again in the reference box if you didn’t get a chance to watch them…)

Here’s the short version – every sale made from your website earns you a referral income (affiliate commission). The script leaves no footprint for the search engines to discover. You can sell anything from smoked ham to snowballs.

Right after I made those videos for you I set up another online store on a brand new, just registered, domain.

Two weeks later Google did an update and graced me with a PR4 on the home page plus some PR3s and 2s. Apparently google likes my online store because I also hit a few #1 spots for high volume keywords.

Now I don’t know about you, but I think that’s pretty hot! And I was thrilled. Especially since I’d barely done any work to get those spots – the script did most of the creation. And, no, (for you naysayers), I did not scrape, splog or ‘trick’ the search engines.

But then last week Google performed it’s recent update and my PR dropped, all the way down to 3.

It’s no wonder – I haven’t done any work on the site or added any original content for the last month.

BUT, do I care about the page rank? No, and here’s why…

Every month my traffic grows on that site, my subscriber list grows, and my sales. I get a check from ShareASale (which is the primary supplier of the datafeeds I’m using).

First it was $55, then $95, $167, $227, and this month my account reads $395 (and there’s still 2 weeks left as I write this!)

Time invested: 4 hours since April ’06

An Alternate Tool for Working with Merchant Datafeeds

Now I know you may have been a little turned off when I first told you about that script because you didn’t want to work with datafeeds or blogs.

Perhaps the mere mention of a ‘script’ sent you running for the hills…

So, I’ve found you technophobes something else. (I’m not saying better or easier, just perhaps more suited to your style of working.)

There are no server scripts to install, no blogs to configure (unless you want to), and you’ll have a few more features at your fingertips!

It’s just a little piece of software, with a tiny and concise user’s manual, and one of the top online marketer’s customer support service to back you up if you get stuck…

Michelle Timothy of RSStoBlog, she’s done it again!

The software creates html pages, blog posts and rss feeds – all chock full of product descriptions and photos, all embedded with your link! (And there’s something very special about the links it creates – but I’ll save that for Michelle to tell you about…let me just say you’re going to love it!)

Now wait, and take this in, this can be confusing, only because the software is so incredibly versatiile…you can:

make html pages using a site template, then upload and integrate seamlessly into your website…instant store!

make blog posts to use with WordPress and if you own RSStoBLOG, have the posts trickle in at whatever setting you want…

make an RSS Feed – heck make 20 – send them to your site and submit the RSS url to the directories and watch the sales come in…

make an RSS Feed and integrate random products into your standard html pages. (This is probably the geekiest of them all and can be a pain to learn if you’ve never done it before.)

That’s all the good news, now for the bad news…

I had meant to email you last week when I first found out about this software and started testing it. Back then it was at launch for $77. Michelle has since upped the price – likely because we’ve all been writing to her thanking her for the easy income machine…

So if I’ve cost you a few extra bucks due to my tardiness, let me make it up to you…

Email me and let me know you are a proud new owner of this easy and versatile software. I’ll reply with a few ways I can make it up to you (plus give you a few hints on how to really make money with these sites), that will help your work, your site, or your marketing education, and I’ll let you choose which ‘let me make it up to you gift’ you prefer!

Here’s the link to learn more:
Merchant-Affiliate Datafeed Software.
I’ll see you in the green!

This week Michelle (creator of RSStoBlog) quietly launched a nifty piece of software that makes money online dead easy!

Michelle’s new software takes the same merchant datafeed that you may have been using in the past and allows you to transform it, without mucking about in the datafeed code (or for that matter mucking about in Microsoft Excel), into blog posts, html pages, RSS Feeds or all three! You decide. However you like working or building sites that make you money…it’s up to you, the functionality is all there in one nifty, reasonably priced and easy to master software. And, if you are already an RSStoBlog owner you’ll find an added formating feature that will make save you oodles of time setting up your future posts.

“Michelle’s datafeed software gets a user out of the confusing XLS datafeed and allows you to create RSS feeds (with your affiliate link embedded), html pages, RSS2Blog posts, and much more.”

I’m still in testing mode with it (because I want to be one of your experts to turn to on this) before I promote it by linking to my own examples, and creating a video to show you how easy and versatile this software is – but if you want to jump in now check it out here – merchant datafeed software. I have one example site at time of writing…pages that I made (but aren’t entirely proud of because it was my first little trial and the merchant feed I used wasn’t the highest quality) but since I’ve been playing with this tool for the last few weeks I’m setting these pages and feeds up all over the ‘net. About 12 fast loading pages, and 60 or so products that all have my affiliate link embedded, created in about 5 minutes.

My favorite part about this software is that it hides that telltale affiliate link from your visitors and search engine robots! I will talk about why this matters in another post, another day, but trust me on this…the search engines will give your datafeed generated pages a lot more credibility in the long run when each product on your pages aren’t followed by an off-site link.

More to come…

Laura

p.s. If you think this might be for you (and I can tell you that much of my income now comes easily from affiliate commissions using datafeeds, which is one of the reasons why I haven’t been working so hard to sell how-to marketing products), grab a copy now while Michelle’s selling it at pre-launch prices.
