Frank Kern – The Talking Parrot Niche Marketer

Wednesday, November 8, 2006

There are people who read my blog or are in my immediate circle that think I talk about Frank Kern way too much.

In fact I talk about Frank Kern almost as much as Ed Dale does!

Although I do think I’m a lot more flattering to Frank than Ed is. As it stands, Frank is one of my online personal heroes for a number of reasons.

"If we keep doing what we’re doing, we’re going to keep getting what we’re getting." — Stephen R. Covey

Let me tell you why I talk so much about a man that I’ve never met in person…

I live in a very small town. Population is under 500. A lot of room for horses and growth but not much of a market for most business. That’s where the internet comes in – and the day I fell in awe of Frank Kern…

A few months after discovering Frank I became so excited about his niche marketing methods – that anyone can succeed with – that at least 200 people in my small town had heard his name and core concepts within just a few weeks of releasing his latest info product. He’s a veritable legend ’round these parts…

The funny bit is – at least 50% of those people don’t even have a personal computer, didn’t have a clue that money could be made online…but they’re listening now!

And, because nothing is ever a secret in a small town, they see my checks coming in the mail from my online ventures – now they’re well aware that I owe much of those profits and checks to Frank and his teachings! (I also talk about Dr. Joe Vitale a lot but that’s another story for another day…)

Frank is, after all, the one who first turned me on to this niche marketing concept – he made it all so crystal clear and easy to understand – which means he has an ability to teach and explain concepts better than 90% of the trainers and authors online today.

BUT…

Get ready for the sad bit…

Frank sold out of his high priced niche marketing program and he’s not selling any more – at least not that I know of…(check123webs.com for Frank Kern to see if you can grab a used copy or any sell offs).

Can Anyone Replace Frank Kern’s Teaching on Niche Marketing?

I took a small stab at it in my free niche marketing course – but it’s only the very basics, you’ll still have to do some research and ground work to get your business up and running.

Few other trainers can match Frank Kern’s style but after hunting around I have something that is perhaps even better for you – and this trainer’s knowledge comes with a much smaller price tag! He’s also not as ‘flamboyant’ as Frank can be at times (which aggravates the heck out of some professionals).

Let me introduce Phil Wiley. Phil has a number of successful niche websites on topics as diverse as lobsters to PVC. His current information package comes with a pile of bonuses, access to a member’s area, website templates to kick start your venture and even a free email consultation! Who can compete with that?

The cost? 1/20 of the price of Frank’s latest info package. Plus, Phil will keep you excited about your future possibilities with his emails, newsletters and free bonuses. You’ll never need another marketer…not even me (but I do hope you come back and visit from time to time)!

Now if you’re really strapped for cash and have to learn this stuff by trial and error, you should at least sign up for this newsletter for some time and money saving tips on niche marketing. You can sign up for this free newsletter here – only sends out mailings about once a month. Phil Wiley’s Newsletter.

I recently heard an interview with Frank Kern (by Armand Morin) in which Frank says that he is leaving the “make money online” business in favor of niche marketing. This was a promotion for Armand’s Big Seminar (#2 I believe). Since Frank is back in the “make money online” niche I wonder what lead to the change of heart?

Sharon I can’t answer for Frank. The information he shares and his manner of doing so are top notch (from what I’ve reviewed) but you must keep in mind that he is a marketer.

Now I’m not saying Frank does this, nor any man, nor any marketer – but over the years I’ve watched one after the other say “I’m quitting marketing…” “I’m taking a year sabbatical…” “I’m getting out of this niche…”, etc. In fact I have said all of these things myself – I just don’t like to make it public before I’m absolutely sure. And, even then, once marketing is in your blood, whenever you run across something new and wonderful you can’t help but get drawn back into the ‘game’ – and want to share this new strategy, technique or training with your list, site readers or social networks.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that we’re all human – even superhero Frank Kern. ;)
